THE COPY AND PASTE were sitting on a tree listening to the sounds of nature. The brown haired girl was one branch below her twin face, Emellia. Enola was sketching and Emellia was reading like always. Emellia saw her older brother Sherlock approaching the tree.
"I also enjoy a sketch."
Sherlock said, sitting down at the root of the large tree.
"Helps me think, process my thoughts."
He said.
"Helps us do the same."
Enola said ripping out paper in her sketch book.
It slipped her hand as she tried to reach for it but failed. It made its way down to Sherlock who snatched it from the air and examined it. He chuckled at it realizing it was Mycroft.
"A caricature."
Sherlock spoke.
"Perhaps best if Mycroft doesn't see it."
Sherlock joked.
"Do you two intend on staying up there?"
Sherlock asked looking above his head.
"We we're hoping for some privacy."
Enola said hoping Sherlock would leave and let them continue their activities.
Emellia was falling asleep on the large branch and stayed like that until she heard shouting of Enola.
"EMELLIA!"
Enola shouted making Emellia startled.
It was now getting dark and they had return home in bed. They got back and went to the room. Emellia was up reading and Enola was struggling to fall asleep. She saw Enola get up from her spot over to the drawer. She opened it and got the gift Mother got them and fiddled with it. After finding nothing, she angrily hit the pencils against the box, everything breaking. Emellia then noticed something with letters. She reached for it and saw her name backwards, Enola's name backwards following hers.
"Ailleme. Alone."
Emellia read.
"That us."
She said turning to Enola who looked at her.
They went to a table and dumped out a little bag of squared letters.
"M.S.."
Emellia read to Enola as she picked out the letters.
"Try it backwards."
Enola suggested ad Emellia switched the letters.
"Chrysanthemums my in look and Emellia and Enola."
"Look in my chrysanthemums Emellia and Enola."
Emellia solved quickly.
"Of course the one in her room."
Emellia remembered.
"We hear you, Mother."
Enola said grabbing a source of light and Emellia's hand. They walked to their Mother's room and Enola looked in the jar and Emellia remembered,
"My chrysanthemums."
Emellia whispered.
"Enola not the ones she bought, the ones she painted."
Emellia said to Enola in a hushed voice.
"Brilliant thinking Emellia."
Enola said smiling at her twin face.
"We get it from Sherlock."
Emellia picked up the painting and searched the back of it finding what seems like a little pouch. She ripped it and reached inside. She found two envelopes one name on it was Enola and the other Emellia. She gave Enola hers and kept hers in her hand. They opened it and found money in both of them.
"Money. She must have left a message."
Enola said.
She noticed something else in the envelope so she grabbed it and read it.
"Our future is up to us."
Enola read.
"What future?"
Emellia asked.
--
There are two paths you can take Emellia and Enola."
Their mother said.
"Yours.. or the path others choose for you."
--
"Our future is up to us."
Enola said smiling at Emellia.
Emellia chuckled catching on.
They were going to flee.
--
They went to a chest that had the word,
'S.Holmes'
Which was Sherlock's.
Emellia opened it started grabbing his old clothes. She gave a pair to Enola and kept for herself.
EN- Mother was able to vanish from Ferndell, and so must we, in the clothes Sherlock himself grew up in.
---
They dropped their bikes in the grass and sighed.
EM- It's a necessary distraction. I was just beginning to master it.
EN- Phase one of the plan complete.
"We're coming to find you, Mother."
Enola said desperately.
EN- The game is afoot.
They walked to the train station and made there way past with no problem.
EM- We couldn't go to our local station, of course, so we chose a different line altogether.
EN- With our brothers after me, there's no telling where they'd search.
They walked up to the man and showed them their tickets. (??idk what they showed)
Somebody came rushing through just as they were about to go through.
"No sign of him anywhere, sir."
One of the policemen said.
"I want an assurance that my son is not--"
Lady Tewkesbury argued.
"He's not on the train."
Enola and Emellia overhead.
They both looked at each other wondering who they were looking for.
"Of course he's on this train! You simply haven't looked properly."
"Sir, I've had my officers search this train from top to bottom."
They kept going back and forth and Enola went onto the train Emellia following. She looked back and saw all of them looking the same direction. She looked and saw a man in a brown bowler hat nod at someone behind her she looked back and saw an old aged man nod back.
'suspicous'
Emellia thought.
