EDITH, ENOLA, EMELLIA were all in a room talking about why they were there.
"You're alone? In London?"
Edith asked them.
"Yes."
Enola answered.
"There was this useless boy but we rid ourselves from him."
Emellia added.
"Hmm."
Edith hummed in response.
"We have money, lodgings. We just need to find her."
Enola spoke.
"What makes you think that she wants to be found?"
Edith reasoned.
"Eudoria's been hiding all her life."
Edith said.
"Then why did she lead us here?"
Emellia cut her off.
Edith frowned at the girl's retaliation, but she didn't think much of it.
"Why would she? And besides, she has work to do."
Edith spoke to the long haired girl and the powderpuff.
"What work?"
Enola asked.
"I cannot say."
Edith said looking down guilty she can't help them.
"Right, ladies, our choices:"
Eudoria spoke to the women in the room.
Enola and Emellia poked into the room and saw women around the table, including Edith.
"The bankmen met, entangle herb, or Ellie Houseman."
A lady listed.
Eudoria saw Enola and Emellia eavesdropping and rushed to get them out.
"So you were at that meeting too."
They said in unison.
"So, we're all agreed? Ellie Houseman."
"Who is Ellie Houseman?"
Enola questioned strongly.
"I wish I could help you two more."
Edith ignored her question.
"You can, but you won't."
Emellia corrected.
"I must get back to my students."
She said.
"You two can see yourself out."
Edith concluded walking away trying to avoid them.
"Hey!"
Enola shouted trying to push Edith down but Edith beating her too it. Enola found herself on the ground defeated, but she didn't give up that easily. Enola attempted to do the most hardest move, the corkscrew, but failed when Edith nailed her down.
"Ah, the corkscrew."
Edith recognized.
"You could manage that one, could ya?"
Edith spat at the powderpuff.
"If you wanna stay in London, be tough,"
Edith paused.
"Be tough, live the life, but don't do it because your looking for someone. Do it because your looking for yourself."
Edith said before exiting the room.
"Get up powderpuff."
Emellia said chuckling, putting her hand out for Enola to take.
Enola got up and fixed her dress, seeing the crate while doing so. As did Emellia. They walked to it, and Enola pulled out a flare. Emellia looked at the label and saw the same logo on the crate in their mother's meeting.
"The bankmen met."
Emellia repeated what the lady said that day.
She made us read every book in Ferndell's library.
"Bankmen met."
Emellia found a memory of the book she read that included the words bankmen met. THE EMBANKMENT.
"Entangle herb."
She repeated.
The map. London. BETHNAL GREEN.
"Ellie Housman."
Emellia then started to think of so many words they cold out of Ellie Housman but then they found it.
"Limehouse Lane."
They said in unison untying the knots.
Their mother winked at them before closing the door, them getting the clue they need to find her.
--
Emellia and Enola made their way to Limehouse Lane hoping to find another clue to their mother. They walked into the dark anonymous alley, finding a mother and their child.
"Are we going home now?"
The young girl asked.
"Yes."
The mother answered.
"I'm hungry, Mother."
She said.
"I know, dear."
The mother looked down at her.
Enola and Emellia walked the other way feeling bad for the pair also not knowing someone had eyes on them. Enola looked back observing everything then catching a locked door with a purple ribbon. The same ribbon their mother put on their gift on their 16th birthday. The same ribbon that was on each and every one of the women's shirts and wrist. Enol lifted up the window and climbed in waiting for Emellia to come in. Emellia climbed in smoothly without making any noise, walking after Enola. Emellia's mind then drifted of to Tewkesbury.
Is he okay?
EM- He's fine.. right?
She got pulled away from her thoughts when she heard what sounded like an explosion. She calmed down when she realized it was just Enola doing the experiment Eudoria taught them. Enola flipped something over and it was a stack of papers fighting for the rights of women.
EM- Well, that's a head start.
As they were walked they saw barrels and barrels of different types of gunpowder. Emellia picked up a newspaper and it read,
'Protest, Unrest & Civil Disobedience.'
Emellia flipped to the next page seeing something including a bomb which she was guessing Eudoria caused.
"Mycroft was right."
Emellia realized.
"You are dangerous."
Enola said from next to her.
