"say that again"pt1

Spiderman and Nova are on there daily patrol. Goofing around, as usual, they challenge each other to a race. "CHATCH UP SLOWPOKE!" Nova sowrs through the sky douging buildings. "Hehe he can't possible be anywhere near me" Nova grins to himself. He looks behind him about to throw some insults to spidy when he notices he's not there. "What the-" not paying attention to what's infront of him he crashes into a building making a 'thump' noise. A loud 'THWIP' was heared. "NOW WHOS THE SLOWPOKE BUCKETHEAD" Spider-man Swinged past Nova giggling at how he looked like a bug stuck on a car window. After a while of playing cat and dog they settled down on a roof top catching there breath, an explosion was hear from a far distance. Spidy senses went off. "Nova?! Did you hear that?" Spider-man said fixing his poster. "Yeah I don't know maybe is was your mo-" Nova was cut off by a bigger explosion but this one was way closer. Seeing that it was a threat to the city, Spider-man and Nova went to where the explosion where happening. Landing in a build bored, all they say were people Screaming from every direction, People running out of there cars and out to the street. So where was the threat? "HEY! YOU OVER THERE!" Spider-man calls out. He had spotted The chameleon shifting into a different person. Planting C4s on the bottom of people's cars. Not wanting him to do anymore harm to the city he jumped off the bulidborad  throwing a tracking device on the chameleon so that It would be easier for him and Nova to track. Unfortunately spidy missed his shot and tracked the trash can instead. "Nice shot" Nova teased " but I got this" The chameleon ran down an ally way. Nova and spidy following, "watch this" Nova whinkes at spidy. Putting both of his fist up touching each other, he shoots a beam of blue light to a corner of a building. The beam was then ricocheted off the
Building punching the chameleon down to the ground. Shocked from impacted, The chameleon stayed down allowing spidy to tie him up. Nova went back and took the c4s off the cars. This was odd behavior for the chameleon. "SO Kameleon why were you putting explosevs on people's cars?" Spidy asked as he pulls on the string tighter. "Im not saying Sh!t" The chameleon says in his rough German accent. "Oh I'll make you talk" Nova comes gliding down to the chameleons Level. Powering up his fist facing the chameleons chest Nova  demands a respond. "WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR!?" The chameleon stays silent, having a nervous face as for he didn't know if the hero wearing a bucket was going to harm him. Nova inched his hand closer to the chameleons face. Pushing him more twords ground level. Staring deep down into his soul the chameleon caved in "FINE! JUST PUT THAT FIST AWAY!" Nova letting go making chameleon hit the floor. Spidy was shocked that Nova had  threatened the villain. Spidy graded Novas sholder pulling him back he exclaims "Nova what the hell are you doing?!" Nova stumbling back "whaat I thought he needed a nug..so that he talks?" Spider-man scoffs at him pushing him away from the tied up chameleon. "SO your gonna tell us or nah?" Spidy says picking up the chameleon by his webs. "Taskmaster.." the Chameleon stops before saying anything else. Spider-man gives a look at Nova."And what dose she want? WHY were you planting explosevs?" Chameleon jolted in fear of what they might do to him "This was my first mission for her, she's trying to recruit people like me to...to.. uhm th-THATS ALL I KNOW!" The chameleon starts to move around like a worm trying to break out of dirt. A long shadow was projected on the wall at the end of the alley way. The Clack clack clacking of boots were echoing around the ally walls. Spider-mans spidy senses where telling him to duck. Jumping onto the chameleon a loud bang was heard. Nova flew down to spiderman. Shoot a blast of his blue Lazer at the direction from where the shadow was coming from. "Taskmaster!" Hissed Spider-man on the floor posing like a spider. A hard deep voice was heared "So I see that you have found my specimen" her voice echoed "What do you want taskmaster?" Nova throws his fist up as he charges his power. Taskmaster makes a run for , not from them but for them to follow. Jumping on a fire escape she pushes herself on to the top of the apartment complex. Spider-man quickly climb the wall, twiping two webs walking backwards to shoot himself like a sling shot. Nova already there was fighting Taskmaster. Spider-man new he had a low chance of winning the fight; for Taskmaster new every on coming move. Despite knowing this spidy still went into action. Taskmaster new that Nova was going to blast her. She did a backflip once he shot his blast. Landing quickly she throw a dagger at him scratching his arm a little to bleed out. "NA" Nova yelped " Ha you didn't hit me" But what Nova didn't know was that the dagger was coded with a sleeping drug. "Did I?" Taskmaster was the last thing Nova saw as he fell. Spider-man notice that Nova was down. Running to him to check his pulse. Taskmaster walking towards him says "don't worry he's only sleeping" feeling his pulse he spidy sighs. Getting ready to fight her Taskmaster throws her hands up "I don't want to fight you" spidey standing slowly "Then what do you want?" A long pause was hear between them. Taskmaster pointed to Spider-man "You." Spider-mans face scrunched up "ew why me, weirdo" "what no I meant I need you on my team" Taskmaster pulls out a hologram of the data she had collected form other villains, heros she had fought. "Out of all of the people I have fought you were the only one capable to me." Taskmaster shuts off her device "fight by my side Spider-man and we can accomplish great things together." Spider-man looking at his partner still passed out. Griping his fist in a ball "No Taskmaster with great power comes great responsibley." Taskmaster tilts her head down "Sorry spider wrong awnser" charging towards spider-man Taskmaster jumps on him pinning him down. Spider-man struggling to get her off was pointed down by a gun "This won't hurt" Taskmaster trailing the gun to his neck shooting him. Spider-man ached in pain. It all went balck.
