"Bye mom, I love you!" i yelled as the uber drove away. She blew me a kiss as she cried. I felt bad for leaving but going to California has always
been a dream of mine, so thats where I'm off to today.
Hi! my name is Kylee, I started singing a few years ago and I have gotten somewhat popular. I started out posting videos on instagram and my sister suggested I started posting my singing to youtube, so here I am moving to California at 19 years old!
I got out of the uber and walked into the airport. I've never been on a plane before so I am a little nervous. But I heard about this really beautiful abandoned building out in California so I am going to do a little research on the plane to see if I can sing there for a video, I bet the echo would sound amazing in that building. I got through security and walked through my gate to board my flight. I was in row 4 so I made my way back there and saw I was sitting next to some brown haired boy. I smiled and took my seat, waiting the plane to take off.
About an hour into the flight, the boy beside me turns and looks at me.
He sticks his hand out, "Hi! I'm Jake! What's your name?" he smiled and shook my hand.
I give him a slow awkward smile and say " Hi, I'm Kylee" her perks up and gives me a huge smile.
"Hi Kylee! What are you going to California for?" he says trying to keep the conversation going
"My singing career. I sing and im decently popular, but I'm hoping my career can take off and do better with me living in California"
"That's so cool! I'm a youtuber, I'm not too popular but I'm going to LA to move in with some old friends from Kansas who also happen to be youtubers! Although they are a lot more popular than me at the moment. But I'm glad I'm moving in with them, I missed them!"
I smiled and told him I'm happy for him. I put on my headphones and he looked a little disappointed, but I'm not here to make friends. I learned back in Kansas that friends are never good for you, so I will be stivking with myself. I put on my eye mask and decide to take a nap.
"Kylee! Kylee! Hey Kylee, wake up. The plane landed!" i wake up to Jake practically yelling. he is a very happy guy it seems.
I take off my headphones, grab my things and walk off the plane. As I'm getting to my uber I see Jake run and practically jump on these two guys, one of them looks at me and smiles. I waved and smiled back then continued on walking.
I got to my new apartment and it was empty because the moving guys haven't come yet, so I decided I would go out to eat and check out that building.
