Something that I really struggled with was how to begin my journey with Aphrodite.
As I was completely new to this, I had no idea what I was doing. Researching was also difficult as you never know who is reliable and who isn't.
However, some things that I did (and I saw other people do) to start my journey was:
1. Learn her stories (mythology, history, the Lore)
2. Researching about romance and love, and the different types of it (e.g., self love, romantic love, platonic love, etc.)
3. Set up an alter of her (this is a common starting point however I didn't do this)
4. Use rose water as a space and energy cleanser (roses are said to have the highest vibrational frequency of any living thing, meaning they vibrate the frequency of love)
5. Rose Quartz (good for romance, self-love, emotional healing, and heart chakra work)
6. Learning her language - Greek (ancient or modern, if the latter is more accessible)
7. Tantra - sacred sexuality
