There was a world called Teyvat ruled by seven gods and consisted of seven different elements, anemo, geo, electro, dendro, hydro, pyro, and cryo. But under it was another world called khaenri'ah ruled by its own people. The people were very intelligent and built there own world they never needed a god. In khaenri'ah lived a smart young man, around the age of 32 he was so intelligent and made countless inventions. He lived alone with his daughter named y/n she was only 5 but she was bound to have the brains of her father. The girl was always full of imagination and happiness she was like a ball of light.
she had beautiful long white hair and had the cutest golden eyes. She often played with the other kids and got along with everyone. As her father was working in his lab for a new kind of power one that would change everything, the power of time.
Prologue
(y/n) POV
Father can i please go play with my friends? i asked "we agreed to all hangout by the river today!"i said. "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner..?" my father said "i'm sorry i just remembered now hehe!" i said "*sigh*.. fine but make sure to put warmer clothes on and don't you dare try to swim it's freezing outside." father said "okay okay!!" i said as i went out the door.I need to hurry to meet with my friends!" i say as i run outside i try to make my way to the river to meet with my friends. I'm really late! As i find my way to the river finally i see a lot of other kids crying? "what happened? i'm sorry i'm late please don't be mad at me.." i said but they weren't mad at me? one of my friends fell into a river! But no one was helping.. i stood there for a few moments trying to think what i should do. i tried to search the area to locate where my friend was and i saw him he was hanging on to a branch but the river was flowing fast and he was getting trampled over the waves. "y/n don't even try going down there try to wait for a grown up to come get him!" As much as i really wanted to do that we kept calling for help and no one came. "j-just hold on!" i said as i dived into the freezing river. I grabbed him and tried my best to throw him up to the surface, luckily he landed fine. i tried to push my self up too but suddenly a giant wave hit me, then another, then another. I couldn't breathe. The last thing i saw were the faces of my friends watching in terror.
I woke up as my father greeted me he seemed mad at me and scolded me i felt really bad. But i didn't regret saving my friend. The rest of the people praised me and called me a hero i have never been more happy! I have so many more friends now and everybody just loves me! This is the happiest moment of my life....
That's what (y/n) dreamed of when she was underwater.
y/n's father found her as cold as can be and tried his best to save her but nothing worked. His only daughter, the only family he had left had died. The scientist started going mad he tried to drink his problems away but nothing worked no one would help him his daughter was gone, his sun. There was no way for him to be happy again unless she was back. So he had a plan he would make another version of her and she would be perfect. It took almost a century he even had to use parts of his own dead daughter to make her, her brain and heart. He needed her back. He even made sure she was able to age so he can see her grow up and become a intelligent young woman. But alas he was done. Over all the years he's been working on her he started to slowly forget what she looked like, his memory becoming more and more vivid. He can't actually remember if she looked like that or not. He dressed up in a beautiful white dress and parted her long white hair into low ponytails as it used to be. "hello-.." and that's when it hit him. He couldn't remember his daughter's name. He kept trying and trying to remember but it could never come to him. The scientist looked at his window at the inteyvat flowers from outside. The flower his daughter loved so dearly. "hello..inteyvat." He said. inteyvat's eyes opened. "i had a nice dream.." she said. The man's eyes widened in awe. After over 100 years she was back, he brought his daughter back.
The man never left the girl alone for a second he wanted to be around her all the time. He was the happiest he's ever been in years he wanted nothing more but to hug her forever. But as time past and when he became more used to her he noticed she's not exactly the same. She struggles to show much emotion or really any enthusiasm which he admired about his daughter. He wanted to be grateful his daughter was back but couldn't help wandering where he went wrong, if there was something he could fix? He just wanted to see her smile more. He tried as much as he could but as much as she was capable of showing emotions she just chose not too which started to anger the scientist.
The father did not wish and promised to never experiment on her after she was officially built. But he was starting to get desperate.
He wanted his real daughter back.

The cataclysm.
One day the heavenly principles decided to dispose of Khaenri'ah for their own reasons.
The scientist was prepared for disasters and made a chest that was untouchable. his first instinct was to shut down inteyvat and put her in the chest, he knew she would still grow in there but the chest should be able to fit as much as he needed including her aging. he placed as much paperwork as he can in there and finally a clock, the clock to stop time.
And just like that Khaenri'ah was destroyed.

Inteyvat kept sleeping for centuries having such wonderful dreams yet so many nightmares too
waiting for someone to find her.
