The Soldier, The Guardian and The Protectorate

Mayuko: When Anya died, Everything changed. Including myself and Matthew. But the Wounds of Matthew cannot be easily healed. His Heart was stabbed deeply when she died. As if he lived in the darkness. As if he lived in suffering and punishment. As if God punished him.

Mayuko continued to Guard Matthew like the way she guarded Anya for so many years.

Mayuko: After Anya's Death, he felt he is all alone. He felt that he has no family, no friends, no companion, no love around him. Despite all the things we done to him to keep him alive and keep him stable. All of our efforts to heal him were nothing for him. Because he felt that no one loved him. He felt betrayed, forgotten, abandoned, and left to rot alone and he is now on his own.

Mayuko saw Matthew staring at the Window Waiting for Anya's Return.

Mayuko: Why are you looking at the Window?

Matthew: I am waiting for her. She promised me that she will come back.

Mayuko: I know. I know.

Matthew continues to look at the window alone while Mayuko is standing on the door.

Mayuko: I fear for him everyday, when i am guarding Anya. She always told me "Do not Fear Me." because she thinks that i am worried for her. The reason why she said those words is because she thinks i fear for her. When Matthew came to her life and to my life, Fear comes in. She fell in love with the Soldier and He fell in love with her. And when she died in his arms, that fear came true and it finally happened.

Mayuko kept looking at Matthew waiting for Anya in the window. He feels that he is hopeless and the only hope he left is Anya returning.

Mayuko: He is still waiting for her. And he will wait for her until she returned to love her again. But all will be nothing because she will never come back. But what i fear the most is that he will be frozen. Frozen in Time and Life and His Soul will disappear. He will be just nothing but a Lifeless Man living in the World filled with Life and Love.

Mayuko went outside alone with Ayane to discuss Parker.

Mayuko: Matthew is still in pain. He is not moving normally. He looks like he is frozen and lifeless. He is still waiting for her.

Ayane: Her death is tragic but that is her destiny. She is destined to be ascended. She is the Destined one. He is now in pain and sadness. And her death will make him suffer.

Mayuko: If this continues. He will be completely frozen, completely useless. He will no longer live like a normal person.

Ayane: I understand. But we must follow her will. We must keep him alive and well in order to live.

Mayuko: Helping him and Keeping him alive is one thing. But what if everything gets worse?

Ayane: Then we will find a way to heal him and keeping him alive.

Mayuko: I know. But it seems that Matthew is slowly dying of loneliness. Loneliness can slowly kill him. But what is worse is that his vision is now different. In everytime i put a flower vase on the table, he says that the Flowers have died. Even if you try to replace it, it will die.

Ayane: Mayuko, The Dark Spirit is slowly taking over his vision. It means his vision will go darker. Hannah must love Parker even if this is against their will.

Mayuko: Hannah must love Parker. But what if he rejects her?

Ayane: The Thorns on his Heart will grow and His soul will get darker.

Mayuko: But he still loves Anya. We cannot afford this!

Ayane: Calm down, Mayuko. We will do everything we can to heal him. We will keep him alive and we will heal him. We are now working on it.

Mayuko: I understand. But there is one last question.

Ayane: What was it?

Mayuko: Did Anya betrayed Matthew?

Ayane: I dont understand. What are you talking about.

Mayuko: Did the Destined One Betrayed Him?

Ayane: Its hard to explain.

Mayuko: Tell me.

Ayane: In order to fulfill her destiny, She must betray him by Fulfilling it. She Betrayed Him, Twice. The First was Her Death and The Second.

Mayuko: What is the Second Betrayal?

Ayane: His Dream with her telling that She wont love him anymore. She loved him but She need to do it.

Mayuko: Which means?

Ayane: Anya needs to end her love for him. She ended it on that dream.

Mayuko: No. It cant be.

Ayane: Even if he tries to reconnect his heart to her, its gone.

Mayuko: It means that he will no longer live in a normal state. But what about what he said that she came to him every night?

Ayane: Its the Angels of God, The Heavens are helping us keeping him alive. They are the Light in Matthew's Life for now.

Mayuko: The Angels are helping him. But he still loved her. The only thing that keeps him alive is his love to the destined one.

Ayane: But when Hannah loves him, It might not be the same again. But we will keep an eye on him.

Mayuko: But i fear that this will be the Third Betrayal. The Third Betrayal will be Hannah.

Ayane: We must be ready.

Mayuko: One last thing, what will happens if Matthew went Missing into the Battle?

Ayane: Mayuko, I am giving you Full Authority of The Protectorate. You are now in Command of it. The Leadership entrusted you because you are close to the destined one. The Protectorate will follow you and you will deploy them anytime.

Mayuko: Thank You, Ayane.

Ayane: I will go to his friends. Take care of him

Mayuko: I will.

As Mayuko continues to Guard Matthew. She saw him crying in silence. She saw tears dropping from his eyes.

Mayuko: Are you Ok, Matthew?

Matthew did not respond as he touched the Flower that in his eyes, it died.

Matthew: The Flower has no life anymore. Even if we watered it and put it into the sun, It is now dead.

Mayuko: What do you mean?

Matthew: Death has finally ruled. Love has died.

Mayuko: Matthew, Its not true. Love has not yet died.

Matthew: Only those who believe in Love kept it alive. But for me, Love has died when Anya died. Her Destiny is Death and She died. When she died, Love has died.

Mayuko went silent and now in tears after what Matthew said.

Matthew: My Love is no more. My Heart is no more. Its all gone. Love is gone. It had died when Anya died. I am all alone. No one helped me.

Matthew went silent later when Mayuko touched his heart.

Mayuko: You are not alone, You are not alone. We are with you. I am with you. Anya is with you always, she will never leave you behind. She is with us.

Matthew silently cried with his tears dropped from his eyes and Mayuko slowly leaving his room and continued to watch him.

On the Present Day in Ramadi, Mayuko was Searching for Matthew, Hannah and Others when a Group of Fully Equipped Soldiers came to Mayuko and it was the Protectorate.

Hiryu: Commander Mayuko, I am Hiryu, Protectorate Unit One.

Soryu: I am Soryu, Protectorate Unit Two.

Mayuko: Hiryu, Soryu, We are Looking for the Soldier. The one who loved the Destined one. We have to keep him alive in accordance to her will.

Hiryu and Soryu: Yes Commander.

Mayuko and the Protectorate are now searching for Matthew and Hannah.
