Annie, Yuri's First Love.

Yuri: (Narrating in Description) Long before i became a Sergeant. I have a Girlfriend before Hannah. Her name is Annie Shin. She is a Korean American and she was a US Army Ranger. I met her in Fort Benning in 2012.

Fort Benning, October 2012. When Yuri met Annie.

Yuri: Excuse me.

Annie: Yes.

Yuri: You are new here?

Annie: Actually i was.

Yuri: Yuri Malashenko, Private Yuri Malashenko.

Annie: Annie, Annie Shin.

Yuri (Narrating in Description): Annie and I became close Friends. We worked together in the base just like any other soldier. Until we fall in love with eachother. One time, we were in the Forest in the Fort dating eachother and we tell our true feelings.

Annie and Yuri are telling their true feelings for eachother.

Yuri: Annie, i just want to tell you that I fall in love with you.

Annie: Yuri.

Yuri: Annie, I Love You. More than i have right now.

Annie: Yuri, i love you too.

Yuri and Annie kissed eachother for about 15 seconds. January 11, 2013, months after their relationship started, Annie was sent to Mali.

Yuri: Annie.

Annie: Yuri, i know you want to go to the Battle but i was sent there to fight. I tried to put you in but they dont want you to be with me.

Yuri: I know, maybe its not the time for me to fight.

Annie: I promise, i will come back and we will love eachother together here at home.

Specialist Allan Meadows went to Yuri and Annie.

Spc. Meadows: Annie, we have to go. 

Yuri: I have to give you something.

Yuri gives Annie the Cross of the Orthodox Church.

Yuri: I give this to you because i love you. 

Annie: Thank you Yuri.

Annie kissed Yuri for 10 Seconds before She leaves to Mali participating the Operation Serval as the US Army Rangers along with the French and Malian Forces are retaking Mali from Rebels and even Al Qaeda. 

Yuri (Narrating in Description): Annie and I made conversations on Phone but also wrote letters to eachother. Our love is strong and I hope that we will be together someday, But One Operation Changed all of that.

March 5th 2013, Annie along with her Squad were inside Mali assisting the French Special Forces in fighting against Al Qaeda in Timbuktu. Annie was under the Command of Staff Sergeant Amiel Miller. They were on a Mission to Secure the Airport and Pave way for French Reinforcements to Flank the Enemy.

SSgt. Miller: Alright, we will take the Airfield and pave way for the French Reinforcements.

The French Special Forces was led known only as Sabre.

Sabre: Once we secure the Airfield, we will beat AQ and retake the Country.

Spc. Meadows: Understood.

Staff Sergeant Miller and her squad of 10 Including Annie and Meadows were near the Airfield occupied by Al Qaeda.

Sabre: My men are ready.

SSgt. Miller: We will storm the Airfield and take it by Force.

Sabre: Alright let's do this.

The Attack began at 3:00 PM.
