Walking to home room today still unsure about what I'm going to say.
I walk into class and notice the seat next to her was free, I casually walk towards her taking a seat.
"Im sorry about yesterday"I huff "you were right I was avoiding you".I wouldn't blame her if she completely ignores me I was a butch yesterday.
She looked at me emotionless before holding her handing out for a handshake.
"I'm Blake...Collins"
"Hayden Samuelson" I say connecting my hand with hers.
"Hayden?, isn't that a boys name?" She asks ever since innocently.
"Wow making fun of me already" I reply with a slight giggle.
"Oh shut up I'm not making fun of you I didn't mean it like that".
"I know I know, yeah it's a boys name. My parents found out they were having twin boys and when one of them came out a girl they didn't bother changing the name". "So here I am" I say smiling.
"It's unique I like it" she says smiling flirtatiously. "So twin huh?".
I nod as we split to our first class of the day.All day I can't stop thinking about her, her voice imprinted in my head.
As I'm catching up on work alone in the school library a familiar voice says "hey".
I turn to see her beautiful smile as she stands looking down next to me.
"Blake hey" I say not able to control the grin on my face.
She replies back Checkley "you remember my name?". "Wow must of made an impression".
I scoff smiling as I turn my head back towards my computer and continue typing. She stands closer.
"Whatcha doin?" She says slowly. To which I reply
"School work"
"Ugh boring" she says closing my laptop and dragging me away a from the library.
"Where are we going" I say slightly too loud.
"I have a spot" she replies and continues dragging me.Finally making it to the rooftops of our college i look around and take in the beautiful view, oh and also looking around the rooftop and at the bright blue sky.
"You found this place within two days of being here?" I question still so shocked.
"Two days is a long time" she replies. We sit down and begin and begin talking about literally everything we'll almost everything. The conversation turns from school to relationships and coming out real fast.
"Yeah I'm bisexual so I date men and Women but my most recent ex's are all girl" I reply answering her question.
"Yeah I get it I mean I used to date men to you know "fit in" but then I came out so yeah"
"Oh really?, when did you come out?".Her face flushes with colour and she looks a bit nervous I start overthinking 'did I say something I shouldn't have?'.
She replies "only two months ago so still getting used to everything. I haven't exactly gone all the way with a girl yet but I'm definitely a lesbian".
I let out a breath of relief glad I didn't over step.
"What about you?, when did you come out?" She asks.
"Me?, oh I didn't" I respond. She looks at me confused as she asks "so...you're in the closet?".
"No no god no". "I just never had to everybody already knew" I say nonchalantly.
"And your parent we're just...fine with it?" She stumbles over her words with curiosity.I look down at my phone trying to avoid talking about my family.
"It's getting late, I should go finish my work" I say not giving her a chance to responding hurry away and to my dorm.
