I need something else/ Would someone please just give me/ Hit me and knock me out/ And let me go back to sleep/ I can't laugh/ All I want inside I still am empty/ So deep that it didn't even bleed and catch me I/ I'll be just fine/ Pretending I'm not/ I'm far from lonely/ And it's all that I've got

-One week later-

-Mitch's POV-

Mitch was patiently waiting for Alex to get home. Alex had offered for mitch to stay at his house, in the guest bedroom until Scott wakes up. Bouncing his leg nervously, he checked his new phone that Alex had gotten him and saw that there was no new messages.

Sighing, he placed his phone on the glass coffee table and pushed himself up from the couch. He walked around the living room and one picture that was sitting on the mantle of the fireplace, caught his eye. He strolled over to the fireplace, and took the glass picture frame in his hands. Holding it carefully, he stared at the picture. It was of him and scott, when Scott was down on one knee in the middle of the stage during their first concert of their on my way home tour. Tears filled in his eyes because he remembered that day as if it was yesterday. He could hear the roaring of the crowd and the yells and crying as Mitch said yes to be Scott's husband. Then he felt Scott's lips against his as he took him into his arms and pun him around.

The sound of the door unlocking snapped Mitch out of his daydream and he sat the picture back in it's original spot, on the mantel.

"Hey Mitch." Alex greeted him as he struggled to get through the door because of the groceries in his hands.

"Oh here, let me help you." Mitch rushed over to grab one of the heavy, brown paper bags from Alex's arm and he closed the front door behind Alex.

"Thank you, Mitch." Mitch returned Alex's smile and followed him to the kitchen.

"Well I got a call from the doctor who is taking care of Scott." Alex said as he placed the other paper bag on the counter, and mitch started to unpack his grocery bag.

"What did the doctor say?" Mitch asked as he placed a box of cereal in the middle cabinet.

"He said that Scott should be waking up soon, his vitals are good and the swelling in his face a gone down tremediously." Alex said as he put the gallon of milk inside the refrigerator.

"That's the best news I have heard in a week. Well other than that Travis is dead and gone out of our lives, but that's besides the point." Mitch chuckled as he finished putting the groceries away.

"Yeah I was thinking about going up there to see him. Do you want to come with?" Mitch turned to face Alex who was drinking a glass of water.

Mitch nodded his head and smiled, "Sure, just let me grab a jacket."
