chapter 2

Ashley's pov:

I was walking in the garden after the trainig i had and saw my dad coming to me and hugged me.

tamlin: hey my little flower 

ashley: hey dad what's up 

tamlin: let's go inside i will tell 

so, i walked inside the mansion with my dad and saw my mon was talking to uncle kall(kallias) wait! when did my uncle came here 

"uuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnncccccccccccccllllllllllleeeeeeee"i shouted and ran and hugged him 

"Hello how is my favorite niece " he said 

"ddddduuuuuhh i am your only niece" i said to him 

"nevermind"he said 

"Hey dad what did you wanted to talk about"

Tamlin:"the night court invited all of the courts to the ball and i think it's time for you to come it's 50 years we had you hidden but you can't hide forever you know"

ashley:"ok dad when we are going?"

ella:"right now"

ashley:"but I didn't pack anything and more important i didn't get ready "

Ella:"I packed everything for you just go to your room and get ready"

Ashley :"ok but it takes time because i need to look perfect"

kallais:"always being dramatic "

Ashley:"shut up uncle"

so, i went to my room and took a shower while I was sitting in the bathtub i started thinking about night court the only court, I've ever was winter court that wasn't my dad's choice to stay hidden for 50 years he just said until 18 but I still didn't want the other courts to know but the spring court people know about me. I dried myself and put my dress did my make up and went out

tamlin:"you look beautiful daughter"

ashley:"tell me something i don't know dad"

ella:"like uncle like niece"

kallias:"of course my niece took the best thing from me"

i rolled my eyes and waited for my parents and uncle so we winnowed to the house of wind 

damn velaris was beautiful when we stepped into hall where the ball was all of the eyes turn to us including the high lord of night court rhysand .

Rhysand's pov:

when the winter and spring court came there was girl who was a copy of tamlin but with Ella's eyes who was she damn she was beautiful i didn't know i was staring at her for a long time until cassian slapped the back of my head and said:

 Cassian:"are you ok brother why are staring at the girl for a long time?"

Rhysand:"it's nothing"

Cassian:" of course it's not nothing Oh my god wait do you have a crush on her"

Azriel:"shut up you are acting like teenage girl"

then i felt something i never thought i would feel the mating bond 

Ashley's pov:

rhysand was staring at me for too long but i felt something the matin bond and i know he felt it too

we went to place where all the highlords were and beron was the one who started a conversation:

beron" tamlin who is this?"

ashley: "you know this has a name and i can introduce myself  i am ashley the highlord and the highlady of spring's daughter"

most of them looked shocked then beron continued :

Beron:"haven't you tell her daughter to have manners and speak with permission?"

i could see my dad was getting angry at him and he said

Tamlin: "my dad can do whatever she wants you are not in a place to tell her what to do and what do not to do "

but then helion came and spoke

helion:" i think it's better not to argue it's nice to meet you lady ashley"he then took my hand and kissed it "

and we greeted most of the high lords and then the ball started many men asked me to dance with them and i did after lots of dancing i was having a drink until a voice behind me said:"may i have this dance my lady?"

and i turned and saw rhysand well you cound't say no to those beautiful violet eyes

"of course,"

we started dancing and he said:" you and i both know you felt the mating bond so i wanted to talk about it i just wanted to say i am happy that my mate is you so can we at leat give it a try?"

i didn' what to say but you know he isn't but also, he is very hot 

"ok i would give it a try "

he hugged like th wolrd was ending so we went to my parents and told them we are mates

Tamlin:"you are what?" he shouted

ashley:" for the fucking thousendth time we are mates"

tamlin :" you are growing to soon"

ashley :" dad i am 50 years old i am not young "
he hugged me them he said to rhysand

Tamlin:"if you hurt her i hurt you"

rhysand:"i woudn't do that"

tamlin:" she can stay with you for a month bu you won't force her on anthing"

rhysand:" i woudn't do that"

then rhysand took my hand and said"ready to go "

ashley: "let's go"

and he took my hand and here is where the real story begins
