MOTHER
Still dark, the wind is cold,
wednesday morning at 3 AM.
Let our story unfold,
they know me as I am
the daughter of a wonderful woman.In every step of the way,
you guide us two,
sometimes we don't obey—
you still tell us, "I love you,"
can't have another mother like you.They say there's no forever,
now I prove them wrong,
no one loves like a mother,
you're there when everyone's gone,
beside me at every battle I've won.There's no one like you,
a hero with no kryptonite—
you are our light, that's true,
the brightest star in the night sky;
your smile is our sunlight.
