THE UNDERWORLD TALE
Written with Toni Rose LugoBefore you,
I'm the king on the throne for fools;
I have everything, but not you—
tricked and betrayed by those I loved,
abandoned by the one above.Written in books as the bad guy
when not a soul asked how was I,
but then you came into my life.In the meadows where I saw you,
it is the first time my heart bloomed.
Your smile saved me from my wronged past,
I grew up knowing nothing lasts,
and when you danced with the flowers—
I knew I am forever yours.Before you,
I'm just another common girl,
destined to do my only worth.
And with rules chained around my feet,
dreaming of what I could've been.Written behind their great shadows,
forcing laughter in sad meadows,
but you came with a swift hello.I was scared when I met you then,
I didn't know what to expect.
Surrounded by nonbelievers,
they don't give chances to sinners.
Love shocked me like how you took me—
you never hurt me; you crowned meBut somewhere,
between the lover and the loved—
is me who never been the one.
I walked for miles because of you,
you didn't leave a single clue.
Please, come back to me, my flower—
my world will turn cold and wither.
