Chapter Eleven

I stand among my generals two hours later going over a plan when we go to the Blood Moon Pack. I had to try and convince Anna to stay home. I don't think it would be good for her to come with us. And if she does come and have a reaction to her ptsd it could jeopardize the mission to search for her sister. I sigh, finishing up the meeting then heads for the kitchen.

I immediately inhaled the scent of grilled chicken the moment I rounded the corner towards the kitchen. When I entered the large room, I saw my mate, Anna, cooking at the stove next to the chef. I lean on the doorframe watching with my arms crossed. I smiled the longer I watched her laugh and smile. The elder woman whom I call Deloris and chef turned on the radio letting some salsa music play.

"You two kids go and have fun. You should spend time together before you, alpha, have to leave. And Anna, dear, don't deny who your mate is." She gives Anna a warm smile with a pat on her elbow. Anna opens her mouth to try protesting, but Deloris waves her cooking tool in the air dismissing us. "Nope, go have fun. I got this."

Anna tried to protest again, but I was faster. I quickly bent down throwing her over my shoulder and headed for the backyard.

"Sebastian, what are you doing? Put me down this instant." She half laugh half huffed out as she started to hit my back. I chuckled barely feeling the hits.

"We are going for a run. To show you we are true mates. Any objections?" She stilled thinking for a moment.

"No." I adjusted my hold on her forcing a giggle from her. Since her wolf has awoken she was more relaxed, stronger which made the pull to her stronger as well. Once we reached the back porch, I set her down then started to strip naked so my clothes didn't tear off when I shifted. I smirked seeing her blush, her eyes roaming up and down my naked body. Anna

My eyes widened, my throat going dry as the desert, and my palms sweaty in contrast. I watched him shift which made me gasp. His wolf was very large and beautiful. I step off the porch walking slowly up to him. When I was a few feet away I crouched down just watching him. The white and red wolf starts to make his way to me. I raise my hand letting him nuzzle his snout in my hand. I smile, feeling my wolf stirring for this alpha wolf. I lean forward brushing my fingers through his thick fur.

"Hey there big guy. Are you ready to meet my wolf?" He growls slowly, licking my hand in response. "I'm nervous about letting her out. It's been awhile and I've only shifted once. I'm sure you know about my past." He lowers his head to say yes. I pet him some more before standing and stripping. "I'll do my best to be brave since you two are here with me." He lays down on the ground waiting for me to shift. Once I was naked, I closed my eyes, giving my wolf control.

It didn't take long for my body to begin to change. I grit my teth enduring the pain as best I can. My body shook from the bones breaking. Fur began to spring up around my body until a wolf took my place.

POV from the wolves. Third person.

She lay low on the ground shaking from the new experience. Elijah walks up to his beautiful mate. He begins to talk to her using his mind.
"Hello, I am Elijah. What is your name beautiful?"
"Selena." She stands up sniffing him back. She then suddenly runs off at full speed into the forest. It had been so long since she was free and able to run on all four paws.
