eddie darts out of the shed, leaving steve behind. he was only a helper. steve furrowed his eyebrows. he didn't know how to get out of here, so how was he going to before the cops got here?
"eddie! what the fuck! i don't know where I'm at!!" steve yelled out of frustration. he heard sirens in the distance. god, he didn't want to go to jail but what was he going to do?
the sirens grew closer and steve began panicking. he shut and locked all the doors and sat under the sink and waited until the doors eventually were broken opened. unlucky for steve, he was sitting in the room where they killed jason. so he's in here.
"clear." is all he heard until a police officer reached the bathroom. the other officers began coming in and they took jasond body out, putting him on a stretcher. they saw steve and immediately pointed their guns. steve was sobbing with his knees to his chest.
"kid get up, your under arrest." steve looked up at him and slowly moved from under the the sink. he stood up and they put his hands behind his back.
"you have the right to remain silent. anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. you have the right to an attorney. if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. do you understand the rights i have just read to you?"
steve stumbled a bit and nodded. "i-i understand. but i didn't kill him." steve muttered under his breath. he was taken out of the shed. the officer opened the backseat door and sighed. "watch your head." steve ducked his head down and the officer put him in the car.
when they arrived at the station, steve was placed in a room and handcuffed onto the chair. a police officer sat in front of him and put his hands in a ball type form on the table. "so, steve. why were you at the scene if you didn't have anything to do with the crime?" the officer asks in a demanding tone.
steve didn't answer. he was still crying. "listen, kid. if you don't tell us what happened we can't help you. sreve frowned and bit his lip. he was lucky they let him keep the mask on. "i-okay ghostface. it was ghostface." steve whispered and began bouncing his leg.
"ghostface killed him? or.. did you?" steves head darted up. "i told you. it. was. ghostface. listen to me dumbass." steve said, getting rather annoyed. he was in a uncomfortable position and his arms were cramping like crazy. "alright. well if your not gonna tell me the whole story, that's fine. im gonna get you a time and date for court." the police officer sighed and got up from his seat. he uncuffed steves hands and then cuffed them back when his hands were off the chair.
"but right now you need to stay in a cell. ill check up on you every now and then, tell me if you wanna call anyone but no funny business. got it?" the officer said as he put steve in the cell and uncuffed him. "okay." steve simply responded and sat down on the bed.
