*Vyserra's POV*

Vyserra couldn't sleep when she got to her rooms. She felt like she was dreaming and was completely happy, she was getting ready for bed when her mother entered the room to gossip about the night and giggle together about Aemond. Her mother pretend scolded her for being on her own with the Prince but knew she had done a lot worse with her husband so let it be. In the end, Rhaenyra recommended she have some milk of the poppy to get to sleep, knowing that her daughter struggled to sleep at the best of times, so she was ready for her surprise from Aemond in the morning.

She awoke again nervous but less so, knowing that the feelings she had were mutual made her anxious feelings more like anticipation and excitement.

The family was to break their fast together that morning. She went downstairs with her father and brothers, ignoring the funny and suspicious looks they were all giving her.

Aemond was already at the table when they entered the vast dining room. They both gave each other knowing looks, but Vyserra was determined to try and be a bit less obvious considering the rumours that were going around the court. She sat down at the opposite end from Aemond, and tried to ignore him trying to catch her eye and smiling to herself. Again, he was trying to wind her up like he had been since she arrived.

Viserys had brought up the subject of everyone's plans for today and Aemond announced loudly, "I am walking with Vyserra after breakfast," and looked directly at her.

"Is that so?" Viserys said, smiling from one to the other, "Well have fun you two, remember to keep your energy for the tourney tomorrow Aemond," everyone was now looking from Aemond to Vyserra with eyebrows raised. Clearly, everyone knew what was going on at this point. Vyserra's face flushed.

As soon as everyone was finished the small talk and stood up, Aemond walked straight to Vyserra, put his hand on her waist and guided her out of the room, "Come, Princess," he whispered in her ear so no one could hear.

"I'm watching you boy," Daemon shouted after them, laughing.

*Aemond's POV*

Aemond didn't care how obvious he had been during breakfast, everyone knew after last nights dances and disappearance what was going on with him and Vyserra, he just wanted to get her on her own.

They walked up the corridor together, being tailed by other members of the family, they gave each other the side eye and stayed quiet. As they kept walking the members went in different directions, until they have all disappeared. Aemond had told his guards this morning again to give them a wide berth so they could have peace today.

As soon as it was clear he lifted Vyserra up and put her on the arches on the walkway, "Aemond!" Vyserra huffed, suppressing a laugh.

"It's Aemond today is it?" he sat her on the arches, got in between her legs and put his hand on her chin. "Not Uncle today?" He squeezed her waist with her other hand and she jumped.

She punched him in the stomach this time and he faked pain, it didn't feel like more than a tickle to Aemond.

"I don't remember you being this annoying Uncle," she fake scowled at him and Aemond laughed and kissed her.

He could tell Vyserra wasn't quite so shy today and the kiss got heated quite quickly. Aemond couldn't help but grind himself between her legs and thoughts were flying in his head that he knew he wasn't allowed to entertain.

One of his knights coughed loudly from the other side of the hall and Aemond pulled away. "Someone's coming," he picked Vyserra up again like a baby and kept walking down the hall, her face was red, "Come and see your surprise."

"Put me down!" Aemond ignored her, "Please!" Vyserra said, he continued to ignore her until she started kicking out.

"Fine, I thought you would be too hungover for violence Princess," he said as he put her back on the ground, he took her hand and kissed it and held it. She wrapped her fingers around his.

"I'm not hungover, I'm not as old as you and can handle my wine," she looked up at him doe-eyed again and Aemond laughed took a moment to admire her eyes again before she looked away, "Where are we going?"

"We are almost here," Aemond turned the corner and went behind her and put his hands on her eyes "keep going, keep going, keep going," until he let her go and put his hands on her waist briefly before she pulled away and went on her knees, without a care for the beautiful dress she was wearing.

She squealed in delight seeing the two corgi puppies bounding on the ground to her. Aemond sat down too and just watched her face as she picked the puppies up and cuddled them and his stomach flipped. He realised this is the behavior some of his friends showed previously to ladies which he had inherently mocked, but Vyserra's smile made him careless to these thoughts.
