Mae Showers Bring Lillians

Kayla woke up pretty early, oddly enough though everyone else was awake. She was pretty tired, Anatak and Ten X were pretty loud last night. Her nose was stuffy and she had a slight fever.

"You don't look so well. You need to go vist Stormy?" Ten X asked sounding concerned.

"Stormy? Are they a doctor or something?" Kayla asked.

"Oh yeah, she is. She cured me last year when I came down with the common Aesistoblip" Ten X said sipping her tea.

"Aesistoblip? What even is that?" Kayla said. "I'm just trying to get home, this place isn't terrible but I miss my husband and step-kids."

"Where did you even come from?" Anatak asked with excitement in her voice and eyes.

"Earth, it was terrible there, but certain people made it standable" Kayla said sadly.

"If it sucked so bad why would you wanna go back? I'm sure if you like socializing so much you'd meet fantastic creatures here to talk to!" Anatak said trying to cheer her up. It didn't work but Kayla didn't lead on.

"I guess I'll go explore a little, so I can get to know my surroundings" Kayla said as she put the leash back on Kilo.

"Okay! Have fun" Anatak whistled as she grabbed everyone's plates. "I'll be on the farm pretty much all day if you need me."

Kayla went outside and the sky was purple with some gold clouds. It was a unique site, real pretty though. She walked and found a river with purple liquid. Kayla didn't quite think it was water, it looked too dense, so she decided to leave it alone. It seemed they're eyes in the sky just watching. It felt weird, nothing seemed right. It made Kayla's backbone shake a little.

Kayla ended up sitting on the edge of this cliff, she could see a small village underneath it. A purple waterfall beside her. Most leafs looked pink with the occasional red, blue, orange, yellow, and very rarely green, but mostly pink. Nothing seemed right and it messed with Kayla a little. Grass was a slight red, but very light so it almost looked pink.

Kayla sat wondering how she was gonna get home, when all of a sudden she was approached by someone. A man with snake hair stood behind her. Kayla hated snakes so naturally she freaked out a little. The snake man was a little confused.

"What's wrong? Is there something behind me?" He asked turning around. "Oh well, I am Jayanta. You can call me Jay. And you are Kayla.. isn't that right?"

"Oh! Yes, but how do you know my name....?" Kayla asked still a little spooked from the snakes.

"Everyone knows everyone. It wasn't gonna be long before Ten or Anatak told someone about you, then the word would spread." He said rather calmly. He grabbed a berry out of his pocket and threw it up. All the snakes lunged up and started fighting over it.

Jayanta didn't seemed to be all that pleased with just silence. Infact it seemed he hated the quiet. He would do something to make noise as much as he could. He left eventually, I guess the quiet got to him.

It was a long day. Watched the sunset before heading back to Anatak's house.
