The King and Queen are escorted down by two knights, the twisting stairway that seemed to be ominous, only illuminated by torch light that are placed on the wall. The group of four reached the bottom, the leading knight walked over to the large steel door and grabbed the key. The second knight turned to the King and Queen.

"I must warn you two, this kid is a real pain," the knight instructed. The two royalties raised an eyebrow. They turned to each other, both sharing the same confusion before turning back to the knights.

"Kid?" the Queen questioned, the King nodding at it. The leading knight opened the door and pushed it open, revealing the large dimly lit room. Many jail cells were visible but not many actually housed criminals. Both the King and Queen noticed that one cell was guarded by a knight.

"Yeah, apparently he doesn't know how old he is, but looking at his appearance, he may not even by 18 yet," the knight stated with narrowed eyes. The two knights moved forward, and the King and Queen followed. They looked at each other and had a silent conversation about what was happening. They were expecting to expect anything really because of how tricky this man had been but, they had been bested for over 6 months by an adolescent?

The four closed in on the cell with the guard who seemed relieved to see two more guards arriving. He bows, respecting his King and Queen before walking over to the four.

"What? You're leaving now?" a voice came from inside the cell. It seemed playful and they could picture the one behind the voice smiling while saying it. Definitely evident of a younger man. The knight sighed and glared into the cell, turning his head to look at the criminal.

"The King and Queen are here to speak with you, so you better give them the respect they deserve," the knight sneered before walking away.

"Hey, I'm always respectful sweetie, but comeback and talk. I had a nice time," the criminal laughed. The knight looked annoyed as he came up to the other two knights. He went over to the leader and nodded his head.

"Thank you, you are dismissed," his leader replied. The knight got another nod before leaving the four and going to the stairwell. The four continued onward before stopping at the cell. The King and Queen peered into the cell and low and behold, the perpetrator was in fact a kid.

He had light brown hair that was extremely messy, it seemed to be all over the place but that could be from him not brushing it. He has been in the dungeon for more than a day now. He had green eyes that were almost glowing and dark ripped clothes. They probably turned out like that when he was caught.

All of the knights are convinced that this is the suspected Specter thief but if that is true, then the one who has been terrorising the noble families and the thief that stole the large diamond is a teenager. It just doesn't seem to be right.

The supposed thief smiled at the new arrivals, looking at all of them with a smug grin. The King and Queen quickly noticed that his hands were separated and cuffed to the wall. The Queen suddenly felt sick as that was only done to those they starve to death. He was still a boy.

"Why is he cuffed to the wall?" the Queen asked, slight anger rising in her. The leading knight sighed but it was the second knight who answered.

"Because he kept removing the cuffs we placed on him," they answered in a tired tone. The thief smiled with a wide grin and let out a chuckle. He then looked away with a fake innocent look and moved his hands into a, I guess gesture.

"Well, they were quite uncomfortable, you'd do it to," the thief said nonchalantly. The lead knight scoffed and narrowed his eyes.

"And the position you're in now is better?" he asked sarcastically. The criminal shrugged his shoulders and rests his head against the wall.

"The shackles aren't restricting blood flow to my wrists, and I have been in this position countless times, so yes," the criminal said with a straight face. The knight continued to glare but didn't say anymore. The King looked over the teen criminal, analysing him. He really did seem like a thief, and he definitely had the confidence of the Specter thief.

He took a step forward, getting closer to the bars of the cage. The criminal raised his eyebrow at the action before smirking as he watched the King. He bent his knee and got into a lower position, becoming eye level with the slouched teen against the dirty brick wall.

"You seem to have great confidence for a boy stuck in a dungeon cell. I still find it hard to believe that teenager no less had been the one to do all of those incredible acts of thievery. Are you just trying to give yourself a reputation?" the King asked the criminal.

The criminal looked at the King in disbelief before shaking his head and chuckling. He then looked the King in the eye, narrowing them with a viscous smirk.

"Aw, is your pride too big to believe that a single teenager stole so much from you and embarrassed your army?" the criminal asked. The King became unnerved by the expression of the criminal. His green eyes were wide, and they were almost popping out of his skull, his smile was way too wide for his face and his fangs were glistening in his mouth and seemed to be too long for a regular person.

"Why would you do any of this?" the Queen asked, keeping her eyes on the boy. The wicked expression on the teen quickly vanished and he looked up at the Queen with a glare. He scoffed before closing his eyes and dropping his head.

"You're all dumber than I expected," the criminal seethed. The two knights sighed and shook their heads.

"Well, we better go now, he isn't going to talk now," the leading knight spoke. The two royalties turned to him, but again it was the second knight who answered their silent question.

"He did this before. We tried getting him to speak but he was pretty stubborn once he got to this state. He became like this last time from the same question," the knight answered. The royalty looked over to the knight before turning back to the slumped criminal. They furrowed their brows at the sight. The queen turned to the criminal still in his cell.

"Do we at least know his name?" she asked. The leading knight sighed and shook his head.

"When we asked, he just answered that it didn't matter, now let's go," the leading knight answered, turning away from the criminal and his cellar. With slight hesitation, the King and Queen followed while the second knight stayed at the cell.

With one look back, the King and Queen exited the dungeon.
