DRUNKEN CONFESSIONS
Tonight I am partying by myself
while sipping a little wine from the shelf.
Singing along in tune with guitar man,
anyone can tell I'm really a fan.Entertaining myself to feel better,
done all things I could under the weather.
Saving myself from what I am feeling,
being my own hero, in peace, healing.Don't worry, I'm doing my best for me.
Slowly picking up the pieces I see.
You will witness a masterpiece, someday—
we will glow bright together, this I pray. Please, don't let this downfall ruin one's self.
Start saving yourself with the strength that's left.
Be your own coach in the game you're playing—
in the end, I wait, you'll hear me singing.I will run to hug you tight, be ready.
See this as a warning, I'll be clingy.
Do you know why I keep on writing this?
Because I feel positive about it.Always remember it is not your fault,
shallow fools just decided to assault.
I promise all will be fine in the end,
win or lose, I cherish the time we spent. So confident that the last round is ours,
there's anticipation in every hour,
but until then I'll keep quiet and wait—
fixed, happy, fighting, and saving the date.
