Into the Stars - My Wattpad Favorites

WHOOP WHOOP! Guess who decided to write this first chapter/review/favorite. Now, I know this story is for reviews and favorites, but I decided to start off with a favorite. @HermioneForever did not pay me or even ask me to review her story. I just really loved it, and so it's my favorite.

I'm sure you have heard of HermioneForever and you must know of her stories. I love some of those big hit stories she has, but I love the stories that aren't famous either. In fact, I love them more.

One of my favorite hidden gems by HermioneForever is Into the Stars. It's a Star Trek fanfiction, from the movies that came out in 2009, 2013 and now another one on the way. (I know some of you aren't trekkies, but stay with me eh? Stay with me).

There are only three chapters up, but the author is in progress with the next chapters.

I'll just give you the jist of the description: Odette Carter from future England, but she now lives in Iowa with her parents (they are some key characters in the first chapters). She meets James T. Kirk in a bar where she works and despises him because of the total womanizer he is. She is persuaded to join Starfleet and goes to the Academy. She becomes assigned to the Enterprise where Kirk is also assigned too. Will her perspective change? (I don't know, you'll find out if you read it).

It's basically a Kirk love story, but she ABSOLUTELY DESPISES Kirk at first, and then probably comes to love him.

I think this is one of HermioneForever's best stories here on Wattpad because you can relate to Odette, and you feel sympathy for her struggles. Odette is a strong willed character, she isn't one of those SUPER ANNOYING STRONG WILLED heroines, but she is definitely not one of those SUPER ANNOYING DUMPY heroines. Her friends are supportive, and she doesn't throw herself to the guy and say, "Take me!"

You love her supportive friends, (especially Bones, because well, you gotta love him and his sarcastic remarks). 

HermioneForever includes just the right dose of humor, especially a scatter of sarcastic remarks, just a load of feeling, a half cup of jealousy, and a hint of love and hate to make the PERFECT fanfiction on the planet. (At least, to me).

Plus, the story is updated almost every week, to my delight.

The cover is up above, and I love it. Not too much detail, but not too much simpleness. 

I really hope you check out Into the Stars by HermioneForever because it's one of my absolute favorites.
