Minsoo......Fell in love with a girl like me? (ON HOLD)

Ch. 18

I woke up the next morning in bed alone. "Looks like they're practicing now..." I said to myself. "Oh well, might as well make the best of my day and go see Sammie and the "gang"." I sighed and got out of bed to go take a shower and get ready for my day with the "gang".

~An hour later~

"Ahhh... That felt good." I said out loud to myself, getting out of the shower and drying myself off with a towel. I went into the room and walked to the my suitcase to pick out my outfit for the day.

The outfit I picked out was ripped/cut blue skinny jeans, an electric blue shirt, a black snap back that is signed by a few of my most favorite kpop idols and white with gold studs converse shoes. Once I put on my outfit, I looked in the mirror to see if everything looked good, which it did if I may add, and when I was satisfied with how I looked, I went to go grab my phone to see about if I had any messages, which I didn't, and to message three distinct people. I first messaged Daniel to see how everything back at home were doing, next I messaged Minsoo to tell him I was awake and let him know what my plans were today, after that I messaged Sammie to see what she was up to and to see if it was alright if she could meet me at the mall. Not even a minute after sending my message to same did she respond back to me saying that she would LOVE (emphasis on the love word) to meet me at the mall. She even said that she was going to bring a few people there too. "Oh goodie..." I said and sighed right after. Knowing quite well who those people were.

While in the midst of messaging Sammie, I got a message from Minsoo stating that he'll see me when I get back and to be careful. I replied back to him stating that I would see him later and that I'm always careful. After replying to Minsoo I got a message from Daniel saying that everything's going great back home and asked how everything here was going. I obviously replied back to her saying that everything was going great here too and thanked her sarcastically about the whole Sammie thing from the airport.

After everything was settled for messaging wise, I grabbed my room key, my wallet, and a few other things and walked out the door. The door automatically locks so I didn't have to worry about anyone breaking in and stealing anything. I walked to the elevator and pushed the button to go down. Hopped in the elevator once it opened, and waited for the elevator to get to the lobby floor. Once there, I walked towards the entrance of the hotel and stepped outside. I didn't stop there though. I called out for a taxi, told the driver where to go and off we were to the mall.

As the taxi driver drove me to the mall, I watched out the window the buildings of Milwaukee go flying by the window. As we got closer to the mall, the buildings got different. They looked different from when I was a child growing up. The buildings in the surrounding area looked ancient, while the buildings more near looked newly built.

Before I knew it, the taxi driver stopped driving and said that we were at the mall. And we were. "Wow! That was surprisingly fast." I said mentally. I grabbed out some money for the driver and handed the money to him. I then thanked the taxi driver and got out of the taxi. After getting out of the taxi, I started walking towards the entrance of the mall. As I was walking I got a text from Sammie saying that she was at the mall and asking me where I was. And of course I responded back to her text by saying that I was at the front entrance of the mall.

Within a few minutes after sending her the text message, I got a message from her stating to stay where I was and wait for her. I sighed when I read the message and complied. After about 5-10 minutes of standing, I decided to go inside, but before I could even turn around I was stopped by a little boy hugging my left leg. He was so adorable too. "Looks somewhat like Sammie..." I thought to myself. "Hey there little guy... Where's your mommy??" Upon my question, he pointed towards the doors and right straight at Sammie. "Caylen, get over here. You know not to go up to people you don't know. Now get over here." Sammie said to the little boy named Caylen. "Hey Millie." She said as she hugged me.

"Hey Sammie." I replied.

"How was your first night, after a long time, in Milwaukee?" Sammie questioned.

"It was good." I said, not wanting to give her any clue that my night was more than just good. Seeming that Minsoo and I were together the whole night...

"That's good to hear." Sammie said absent minded. This is when I noticed who she brought with her. I was shocked by who all came with her too. Not only was the "gang" there but extra people too. But what really shocked me the most was that the leader of the "gang" was there, looking shocked himself at seeing me. "Uhh Sammie?? Why is mostly everybody staying at me in shock, especially him??" I asked and pointed at Drake, the leader of the "gang".

"Oh only because of how grown up you look. I mean you weren't that much of a looker back than then you are now Millie..." Sammie explained.

"Hey I did have some looks back then and I still got them but now it's just magnified to a whole different level, right??" I questioned her.

I was expecting Sammie to answer but the person that did answer for her was someone that I didn't expect to say anything since we barely ever got along, because of our personalities and our point of views on certain things. It was Drake that answered. "Millie you always were a shiner, even when you were little...Oh and hey." Drake said out loud.

"Hey D." Was all that I could muster up to say. We made eye contact then, and it became silent after that. Within a matter of seconds of making eye contact, we both looked away from each other.
