Ch. 5: The Shopping Trip

When we got to the mall, the first thing that happened was Tao running off to find a store that had Gucci items. When it came to Gucci, Tao would always, always buy Gucci products "off the wall" as some people would put the term as. No joke, he would. He loves Gucci. He practically wears the clothing everyday.

"Great! There he goes again! Tao! TAO!!!!!" Kris bellowed out loud. "I'm gonna go and get him before he gets into trouble." Kris added. Kris ran off to get Tao as the rest of us walked, scanning the stores as we went through the mall. One store caught my eye and I drifted off towards that store. Before I could step into the store, I was suddenly grabbed by someone. It was Daniel. She had me facing her, her face having an all to well expression.

"Where do you think your going missy?" She said aloud while the other members were watching.

"Into the store." I said pointing to the store that was slightly behind me, yet beside me at the same time.

"Not while I'm here. Your coming with me and the others to wait for Kris and Tao." Daniel said, grabbing my hand and leading both me and the other members that were with us towards the area where we last saw Kris running after Tao.

"But..." I tried to finish my sentence but was cut off by Daniel saying, "But nothing M! I can't be having you go off on your own to search for things that you really don't need. Plus, I really don't want to hear it from Minsoo about loosing his most loved and prized "possession" in the whole world. And I personally don't want to lose my most loved and loyal friend who is going to be loved even more when everything that was talked about between you and I is done. Got it??!" Daniel argued.

"Yes Daniel. I get it. Can we come back later to look at what they have to offer though, please????" I asked pleading.

"Maybe. Just maybe. Ok?" Daniel replied.

"Okay." I smiled as we went off in search for Kris and Tao. It took us a while before we saw Kris and Tao. Tao having a sour, not so happy, look on his face, the look of shame as if he was caught doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing in the first place. Kris having a disappointing look on his face, his eyes darting towards Tao every few seconds to make sure Tao wasn't planning on suddenly making a dash for it while he still could.

"Ah! There you guys are! Tao! Don't you ever go running off like that again! Do you hear me??!" Daniel shouted at Tao, tearing into him like it was nothing. I almost thought she was going to hit him because of his foolishness, but Kris stopped her by saying, "Don't Daniel. I already talked to him, and gave him a fair punishment of something that he has to do when we get back to our company building and I also told him that he is not to get anything Gucci while we shop.". I saw Daniel nod her head in acknowledgment and started walking off to go shopping.

"That was a close one. Glad she didn't burst out hitting like last time we went shopping." Kris whispered, low enough that Daniel didn't hear him. After that we all walked in silence, up until the part where Kris squealed, making all of us jump, and pointing at a certain place that we all knew he loved to go to. There were signs up where his favorite place was. Sale signs. "SALE TODAY! 25-50% OFF EVERYTHING IN STORE!" the signs said in both windows of the store.

"We got to go there! Daniel! We have got to go into that store. They are having a sale today. You know that that's my favorite store in this mall. Can we please go??! Please! Danny!!" Kris jumped up and down pleading with Daniel.

"Fine! We'll go, just calm your titts!" Daniel rolled her eyes at Kris, because of his childish behavior.

"Yehet!" someone yelled out. That someone came out of the store that we were gonna go in. It was Sehun.

"That's my word you stole Sehun!" "Aish!!! Sehun! What a surprise seeing you here!!" Kris and Daniel said at the same time. Daniel went running up to Sehun and gave him a hug. Sehun was another good friend of Daniels.

"Hey guys. How's it going?? You guys shopping too?" Sehun asked while hugging Daniel. I saw out the corner of my eye Kris getting mad at the sight of Daniel and Sehun hugging. "Is it just me or did I just see Kris getting mad over Sehun and Daniel hugging?" I got an idea just then. "I shall talk to Daniel later and see if she saw what I just saw with Kris." I thought to myself and made a mental note to talk to her once she was alone.

"Yah. I planned it out where all of us would go shopping so that M would be out of the dorm, instead of sulking in Minsoo and her bedroom." Daniel smirked evilly knowing what my reaction was going to be when I heard what she was saying.

"WHAT??! YOU DID WHAT DANIEL??! WHY??! JUST WHY??!" I started walking off crying before she could say anything else. It wasn't long after that I was sitting on a bench in a secluded area of the mall where not many people went, when I felt the other side of the bench move slightly. I didn't look up to see who it was because I didn't want the person to freak when they saw that I was crying. That's when I heard the persons voice.

"I'm sorry M. I didn't mean to say it the way I did. What I meant for what I said was that I planned this shopping trip only for you. Because I could tell you needed it. And plus it's nice to get out of the building and dorms. Especially since with you and the one thing....." Daniel explained. She opened her arms offering to give me a hug, and I smiled as I accepted the offer. We both laughed at each other as we usually do just to relieve the ackward tension feeling that was in the atmosphere. Just then, Kris, Tao, Sehun and the other boys came around the corner and asked if everything is good. Daniel and I looked at each other, then turned our heads to the boys and said, "Yah. Everything's good. We can go back to shopping now you guys". 

The shopping trip went more smoothly after that. When we were done, we checked to see if we had everything we bought, and headed back home. We were still in the vehicle when I whispered to Daniel saying, "When we get back, I need to talk to you". "Ok M." Daniel replied.
