WE'LL HAVE OUR SOMEDAY
Want to tell it by mouth,
nothing but air comes out—
want to truly express
what I chose to profess.
Without a doubt I see
that you belong with me.Started with betrayals,
friends turned superficial,
lies told with emotions;
hid the truth with fiction—
a so-called beginning,
or a painful ending.Late night talks, or no sleep at all;
secret notes, and enchanting strolls;
mischievous plans, and loving glance
with each other like in a trance;
Withstand earthquakes and shallow fools—
this is perfect, but fate is cruel.Everything we always wanted
will be ours, once we decided.
To stay together, hand in hand,
or part and dive to the unplanned,
but with us, one thing is certain—
Someday, love, we will meet again.
