I closed the mascara's lid and looked at myself in the mirror. My makeup wasn't too vivid, but not too subtle either. The black dress I was wearing only made everything look darker against my skin.

The door knocked and I urgently answered, revealing my best friend, May, on the other side, who had a big smile on her face, wearing a red dress that complimented her dark skin.

"Ready to party hard, are we?" She said, doing a wolf-whistle as she looked at me up and down. I gave her a small smile.

"Ready to get shit-faced drunk, you mean." I corrected and took my jacket and keys, exiting the room.

We walked for some blocks towards a large fraternity house, where people were going in and out of the front door and music was making the whole place vibrate.

"Who's responsible for this brothel, remind me?" I asked, not tearing my gaze from the house. May laughed besides me and pulled out her phone.

"The ΚΛΓ fraternity. Not sure who these are, but I'm willing to find out if they have booze." May responded and put her phone in her pocket.

I spotted a familiar face on the front porch, and immediately pulled May with me to him.

"Alex!" I called, for him to turn around to face us. He waved at us and came over to the staircase before the door, hugging both of us briefly.

"Hello my beautiful ladies. I see you're ready to get some, aren't you." He said, twirling May. I chuckled at his comment.

"If some is vodka, then hell yeah." I commented, as he let go off May and nodded at us to go inside.

"Get in, get in. I still have someone to persuade to get off with me." He said and winked at us, gesturing towards a frat boy with his head.

I ushered him to continue flirting while me and May proceeded to go inside the house.

It was large, larger than a house that I could ever afford. On either side of us were couches and small coffee tables with alcohol bottles here and there, and through the hallway that led to the backyard, I could see a huge pool, even a mini bar.

"What are their parents paying for..." I commented, completely taken aback by the place. May shrugged besides me as we navigated through the house.

I made eye contact with a frat guy on the other side of the living room, who smirked at me. I didn't really know how to respond, but thankfully, May noticed it too.

"Go talk to him, tiger. He's so obvious it hurts to watch." She whispered, and nudged me towards him slightly.

But to be honest, I didn't really want to get off with someone. I already was in a situation-ship with Evan, that I didn't want to ruin just like that. Why not just talk to the guy, though? I thought, and so, I found myself shrugging and walking towards him, after May pushed me encouragingly on the back.

"Hey there." The guy said while I approached, parting from his group of friends. He had short black hair, brown eyes, a well-defined jawline and broad shoulders. I smiled at him.
