Enmu stood over your grave. It was a very cold snowy day, his tears froze as they touched the cold air. It has been 2 weeks since your death. "If only, if only you weren't with a bad family, you would be alive and with me still," he placed a f/c penden with the drean kanji inside of it on your tombstone.

He tried to keep in his tears as he walked away from your grave. He walked into your hometown, walking alongside the road, head lowered to look at the ground. "Enmu wait!" He stopped and turned to see your ex lover. "What do you want?" Enmu asked coldly.

"You ok? You seem to be upset..." "Either he is not bothered or no one told him," Enmu thought, "Weres Y/N? I haven't seen her in 2 weeks," he said. "I guess no one told him," there was silence between the two. Enmu turned his head and turned his back to him. "She's dead," he replied. There was more silence. "How-" "I'd rather not talk about it," "If it weren't for you she would have lived," he thought bitterly.

He continued to walk down the white colored street. Snow crunching from each step he took. He had no specific destination, he just walked. Eventually his feet got tired then he sat under a tree. He brought his knees to his chest as his crossed arms rested on his knees. Your voice was playing over and over in his mind. "Cmon Enmu!" The picture of you smiling at him, eyes full of joy when you saw him.

His heart ached, frozen tears fell from his eyes as the imagese of your smile played over and over. He put both hands behind his head and leaned back. His brows furrowed as he starts to sob. His sobs got louder as he collapses on his side crying in the snow. The sobs continued, till he slowly fell asleep.

"Enmu-chan!" Those words, the way you say them made him feel warm and happy. Y/N was Enmu's bff and love interest. Though him being a bit shy he just plays along the friend line. When you two are around, your very bubbly and energetic, while Enmu was more of a shy and quiet. Though he dosen't know wether its your bubblyness is make you oblivious to the signs his in love with you. Like the suggestion for dinner, holding you from behind, having a romantic look in his eyes. But it seems that you do not notice the signs and take it as him being a really good friend.

He thought for a while you wete just oblivious, till suddenly you changed. You were very quiet, rarely smiled, the spark in your eyes vanished and are just an empty void. Enmu was there for you, though he didn't know why you were so depressed. He asks you multiple times whats going in, all you say its nothing, but he knows theres something wrong. It got so bad he had to force you to eat a meal daily instead of eating once a week. One day he's had enough, even though he is a sadist and is enjoying your suffering, and hateing himself for it. He gentally cups both your cheeks and looks you dead in the eyes. "You have been like this for a month, please tell me whats going on. I hate seeing you like this! I miss the happy an bubbly y/n! So please, tell me whats going on...."

There was a long silence. "I'm in an arranged marriage, to a man father said to have better blood quality and is the best suiter," as much as this hurt him badly, he wanted to know why. His hands slid on your shoulders. "Whats so wrong about that though?" He asked, still a little concerned. "Y/n?" There was more silence. "Father.... Has been a little harsh lately after they found out you are a demon," "what do you mean harsh?" "........" The grip on your shoulders tightened. "Did he hurt you?" Enmu growled "no, not technically.... Don't wanna talk about it."

(Ok, physical abuse is very overused, yes i know this is messed up but i decided to use straight mental, lets say its a bit of a vent too..)

Though he knows it's not easy to talk to someone about it at all, he was still there for you. Keeping your health incheck, holding you when you completely shut down. Letting you cry on his shoulder when things he doesn't know get you down. Even though this is killing him inside he enjoys your suffering. He cares deeply about you but can't help he fact he is a sadist. This was the only time he hated for what he is and what he became. Enjoying the suffering of his loved one, Made him feel sick inside.
