HOPELESS AND NAÏVE
Am I too naïve in thinking
that what i do, they will do too,
and what i don't, they clearly won't?I still believe in this rule of gold,
even if I look helpless.
I write poetry—
of course, I'm hopeless.
My eyes finds beauty
in the arms of secrets,
and forgotten promises.
