Camila POV

It was Saturday and I was just waking up. My family was out of town so I had the house to myself. I was already bored so I figured I'd text Dinah and tell her to come over.
"Hey Dmac, you wanna come over?" I asked.
While I waited for her to text back I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. My phone started ringing and I thought it was Dinah but it was....Lauren?
"Hey Lo, I thought you had to go out of town with your family?" I asked because I was confused.
"Yeah, well I was supposed to but I kind of told them I was sick because I wanted to hang out with you for the weekend." She said and my heart fluttered. Lauren doesn't know that I have feeling for her and I don't think she ever will. I'm pretty sure she's straight. We've been friends since second grade and we are now in high school and I've liked her since eighth grade year. Hearing Lauren talk cut me of if my thoughts. "Camz? Hello, you there?" She asked sounding a little confused. "Yeah, and of course we can hang out." I said trying to sound casual. "Okay, I'll pick you up in an hour." She said then hung up. I went back to brushing my teeth and then hopped into the shower. I got done and fixed my hair. I put on my high wasted shorts and a blue crop top with black high top converse. By the time I got done getting ready someone knocked on the door. I went downstairs and opened the door. It was Lauren. She looked so beautiful. God. Why does she have to be so beautiful it's hard hiding your feeling for someone. I didn't realize how long I'd been staring. "Like what you see Camz?" She said with a smirk I started blushing and she walked over to me and lifted my chin. "Don't hide your blush Camz, you're beautiful." She said and went up to my room. We usually watch movies or do something dumb. Wait...did she just call me beautiful? I was blushing and walked upstairs. Lauren was pacing around the room and looked a little nervous. "Lauren, you okay?" I asked. "Camz I need to tell you something." She said sounding worried. "Umm alright go ahead." I said and sat on the edge of the bed. "Well umm I rea-" she got cut off by my phone. Fuck I forgot I texted Dinah. "Um hey Dinah." I said. "Hey Mila, I can't come today I'm so sorry I have to babysit." She said sounding guilty. "Hey it's okay Lauren came." I told her. "Thank god for her. Tell her I said hey. Bye Mila." She said and hung up. I looked at Lauren and she gave me a weird look. "What were you going to say Lauren?" I asked. "It can wait Camz." She said with a small smile. "Um alright so what do you want to watch?" I asked. "Scream series!" She shouted. Damn Lauren you know I hate scary movies. "Lo, you know I hate scary movies" I said fake pouting. "Lets make a deal, if we watch scream, I'll take you for pizza and ice cream when we watch the all the movies." She said with a smirk. Lauren why do you know me so well you know I love pizza. "Fine" I said huffing and she screeched. I put the movie in and went and sat beside her on the bed. We sat in comfortable silence. She put her arm around me and pulled me closer to her side. She didn't say anything though. Oh my god this is the first time we've ever cuddled. Camila keep yourself calm. Before I knew it our hands were tangled and Lauren looked and me and smiled.
