In this AU, they are all trapped in a haunted house after being kidnapped and having their quirks disabled. Also, partially soft baku hehe

~Deku  POV~

"GUYS! IT'S RIGHT BEHIND US!" Kaminari screams at all of us as we run up the stairs in an attempt to outrun the goat-like monster chasing us.

I sprint, taking the lead in front of the group, and try to find a door for us all to enter.

"GUYS!" I yell across the stairs, "I FOUND A DOOR!"

"OK OPEN IT SO WE CAN ALL RUN INSIDE AND BE READY TO CLOSE IT QUICKLY!" Kirishimia yells from behind the rest of class 1-A. 

I nod and open the door wide. Soon enough, all of class 1-A is through the door and I slam it closed.

"Phew, we're safe-" I instantly stop, my breath hitching as I am surrounded by nothing but the dark.

"G-guys?" I ask wearily. I get no answer. Just an echo that keeps going on forever.

I reach my arms out, hoping that someone is in front of me, but no one is there.

"A-any-anyone?" I whimper whilst taking a step forward. Still I get no answer.

Then suddenly, I hear a blood curdling scream and I instantly recognize who it is.

I sprint forward, doing my best to ignore the darkness all around me and rush towards the direction of my best friend's voice.

It feels like I have been running forever, and I haven't gotten anywhere. I am still running blindly through the darkness. Soon, I started to slow down, realizing that if something had happened to Uraraka, I was too late.

I feel my body start to shake as I slide down the wall beside me and tuck my knees into my chest. I stay like this for a while and then I start to wail. Letting out all my anger and sorrow. I am lost, all by myself and no one is here to help me.

Soon, I start to hyperventilate and my mind floods with negative thoughts.

What if I die here?

What if I never get to see him again?

What if the monster gets me?

All these things flood my brain and I am unable to control the flow of them.

Still shaking, I roll to my side and cradle my legs and head.

Then, slowly, ever so slowly, I begin to fall asleep.

"Hey, Izu. Wake up." I hear a soft, low, husky voice whisper in my ear.

Slowly, I open my eyes to see someone kneeling in front of me.

Looking up, I see a pair of pale ruby red eyes looking at me in worry.

"K-Kacchan?" I whisper, daring to hope that it is him.

"Hey nerd." He whispers to me as I untangle myself from my fetal position.

I let out a long yawn and stretch my arms and legs out like a cat.

Kacchan chuckles to himself.

I look at him questioningly but then suddenly realize what happened last night.

My eyes widen, my pupils dilate and I, once again, start to shake.

"Hey, hey. Calm down. You're fine, everything's fine. Take a deep breath." He says to me quietly while he grips my shoulders to stop me from shaking. I look at him, my green eyes locking with his ruby red ones, and take a breath.

"That's right, breathe. Good boy. Now, what happened." He whispers to me as my breath evens out.

"Do I have to say?" I mumble.

He shakes his head, "You don't have to."

I nod and try to stand up, but my legs crumble underneath me. I slouch against the wall to stop myself from collapsing.

"Woah woah, take it easy. We don't want you injured." Kacchan says as he stands up. 

"Now, you okay? You good to walk?" He questions quietly. 

I nod gently and push myself off the wall but instead of standing, I fall into Kacchan's arms. 

"Ahhh! I'm sorry, please don't blow me up." I mumbled loudly as I flail my arms around. 

Kacchan grabs them and doesn't let go, "Hey, it's alright. I'll help you walk. This way we can walk faster." 

I nod and wrap my arm around his shoulder and I feel his arm wrap around my waist. I relax my body into his and we slowly walk down the long corridor. 

As we walk down, I realize that the corridor isn't as dark as it was last night, and then I remember last night.

"Kacchan," I quickly ask, "Is Uraraka alright?" 

Turning around, he answers, "Huh? Round cheeks? Yeah she's fine. Why?" 

"B-because last night, I heard her screaming from down this corridor." 

"Huh. How, she was with us the whole time. As soon as we stepped through the door, you disappeared and all of us freaked out. We spent the entire night looking for you. I went off by myself though, which is why no one else is here, but like, Deku we were worried. I  was worried." Kacchan mumbles as we somehow get closer to a bright light infront of us.

"Huhhh- Kacchan was worried? About me? As 'stupid nerd'?" I mock as we arrive at the light (which turns out to be a door).

"Firstly, yes, I was worried. Secondly, you're not a stupid nerd. I just say that to cover up my feelings." Kacchan grumbles as he opens the door. 

"Feelings? You have feelings for me?" I sputter. 

Could Kacchan actually like me? I wonder as we step through the door. 

"Yes, Deku. I have feelings for you." Kacchan whispers before pulling my into a kiss. 

At first, I tense up, but it doesn't take long for me to melt into it. 

"Damn y'all. Never in my life did I think that I would see Bakugou Katsuki kissing my best friend." 

Kacchan and I break the kiss and turn around to see Uraraka (along with the rest of class 1-A) standing there. 

"Uh- hey?" I mumble. 

Everyone bursts out laughing and Kirishima runs up to Kacchan. 

"Bakubro, why didn't you tell me you like Midoriya?!" He all but yells

"Maybye because I didn't want to? Or maybe it is because I didn't want to realize my feelings." Kacchan grumbles.

"Awww, Bakubro has feelings~" Kaminari teases from behind Kirishima.

"Hpmh." Kacchan grunts, turning his back in everyone else. 

"Guys don't tease my Kacchan." I say, finally smiling.

Everyone laughs and Kacchan picks me up bridal style.

"Yours huh? Since when?" He says, looking down at me.

"Since now." I say, wrapping my arm around his head and pulling him in for a kiss.

Behind us class 1-A 'whoops' and screams in joy, as Kacchan and I embrace each other.
