Who doesn't like me? - Will/Nico

This is an AU, Will, and Nico are just regular school boys, both of them like each other and they know it, but Nico keeps denying it. 

~Nico POV~ 

"Hey, Nicoooo~ You still in there?" 

I look up at my best friends Piper and Jason, "Yes, I just zoned out. What were you saying?" 

"Oh, we were just saying how HOT Will Solace is. You think that too Nico, right? Cause you wuuuuuuv himmm~" Piper says to me, leaning closer with every word. 

"Piper dear, leave Nico alone with his feelings. Things will figure themselves out." Jason says, trying to be the voice of reason. 

Piper glares at Jason, "If I 'leave him with feelings' he and Will and NEVER gonna get together. We graduate soon! If he and Will don't get together now, someone's gonna swoop in and take the fresh meat." Piper says, looking at me directly in my eyes. 

"Ok firstly, Will is gay and I don't think that anyone else will 'swoop in' to take the 'fresh meat'. Secondly, I never said I liked Will!" I say indignantly, crossing my arms and pouting. 

"Sure you don't like him. You totally don't just stare at him every. Single. Day. Totally." Piper mumbles, rolling her eyes and shutting her locker door. Class had just finished and lunch break had started. 

"No, I don't! I don't even look at him!" I almost shout before leaning in and whispering, "Do I really? Stare at him constantly?" 

"Oh my! Yes, you do! It is sooooo obvious! Isn't it Jason?" Piper states, bringing Jason back into the conversation. 

Jason turns around from his locker and looks us all in the eye, "Don't bring me into this guys, I prefer to stay out of drama." 

Piper rolls her eyes and closes my locker (and Jason's) before dragging us (by the wrists, which hurt, by the way) towards the empty classroom we usually spend our lunchtimes in. 

"Nico just admit it," she says, unlocking the classroom with the key she nabbed, "You have a major crush on Will." 

"No, I don't!! I don't like Will, he's just a friend!"  I mutter as I walk into the classroom only to run into a very soft (but hard) wall, "What the- Oh." 

In front of me is the one and only Will Solace and he looks very smug, "Who doesn't like me?" he says, sporting a smirk. 

I step back and turn around, covering my blushing face, "Uh- no one! You miss heard us! Right, Piper? Jason?" I say, only to look up and see that neither Piper nor Jason is there, and the classroom door is closed. 

Damnit, I should've seen this, I think, slowly turning around to face Will. 

"You gonna explain, Nico?" Will says walking towards me, slowly backing me into a wall. 

"Uh- well, you see..." I mumble slowly losing my grasp of the English language and resorting to baby mutter. 

"I was joking, you don't have to explain anything," Will says, backing away from me (and the wall), "But I just wanna say, I do really like you, Nico." 

Will then turns around to open the door and walk out, but I grab his wrist, "Wait." I mumble, "I- I like you too, Will." 

Will turns around and looks at me, beaming from ear to ear, "Soo, are we a 'thing' now?" 

I look down and twiddle my thumbs nervously, "I guess..." and then, without a second thought, I grab Will by his collar and pull him down, kissing him gently on the lips before running out of the classroom. 

I take five detours, trying to avoid Will, before I finally arrive at my locker. 

"Well? What happened?" Piper asks as I open my locker to see a little teddy bear and Will's phone number attached to its collar. 

"Oh, nothing much," I say as a smile spreads across my face. 

"Sure, 'nothing much' can you believe him?" Piper mumbles grumpily as the bell goes and we head off to class, me holding the bear close and grinning madly, walking behind her and Jason. 

I sigh contentedly and thank the gods for Will and this bear.

A/n: I have nearly finished Sun and Star btw, GO READ IT! IT IS AMAZING, LOVED IT SO MUCH. also sorry for not posting anything for the past like 6 months, I have been really busy with exams and school, but I promise I'll try hard to post atleast once a month. Love you guys <3
