Chapter 12

Paige Pov:

"I love you" Elli mutters with her head in my chest as we were hugging

"I love you too, be safe okay?" I say kissing the top of her head.

Elli had an away game at Saint John's, so her and her team were taking a flight to the university.

"I will," She says, picking her head up from my chest. She leans up, connecting our lips for a sweet kiss. I wrap my hands around her hips as she cups my cheeks.

Elli and I were behind a wall. We haven't gone public with our relationship. People just think we're really close friends. We both decided we would go public on our own time. So for now it was sneaking around, kissing her and then until we were ready for the public to know about us

"Elli quit snogging and hurry up" Jada screams

Elli pulls away, rolling her eyes at her teammates. She pecks my lips before grabbing her bag that was on the floor.

"I'll call you when I arrive" She says smiling at me

"Okay see you later princess" I say leaning down to peck her lips again

"See you later love" She says waving and walking towards the bus and her teammates

I lean against the wall watching her put her bags in the back. Elli was dressed in her travel gear, which was just Uconn women's soccer gear. But she looked really good in the outfit. I watched how she laughed at something Jada said. I watched when she got on the bus. I even stayed to watch them leave. I smile to myself before walking away to my dorm.

"Where were you?" Evina asks once I get to my dorm.

I close the door behind before furrowing my eyebrows. "I was saying goodbye to Elli?" I say more like a question

"Where's Elli going?" Christyn asks

"She has a away game against Saint John's and then another one against UCF" Evina answers

"Ohh right, I remember her telling me that" Nika say

"I don't know about you three but I'm going to watch her games" I say

"Who said I wasn't going to watch my little sister play" Evina says faking a hurt expression

Elli Pov

I wake up feeling water all over my face. I opened my eyes and saw that Issy had poured some water on my head to wake me up. I jump out of my seat and push her playfully.

"Issy!" I yell laughing

"Sorry it was the only way to get you up" Issy says shrugging, she was trying to hold her laughter in but ended up failing miserably.

"C'mon hurry up, we arrived at the hotel." Sophie says

I pull out my phone and text Paige basically saying I'm at the hotel. She responds within the next minutes telling g me to calm her later.

I stood up from my seat and walked down the aisle of the bus. I looked out the front window and surprisingly there were people and camera's outside of the bus. I got off the bus and noticed they pointed the cameras on me. I shrug it off and walk over to the back of the bus and grab my bags. I then walk inside the hotel where most of my teammates are.

"This hotel is pretty nice" Chloe says

It was true the hotel was pretty nice. Coach walks over to us, handing us a piece of paper.

"Ok here are your rooms, and get some rest today girls for tomorrow's game," Coach says

I look down at the paper and see I'm sharing a room with Issy. I look over at Issy and she smiles at me. I walk over to nudge her.

"Room 2B is that way" I point down a hallway

I was currently laid down on the bed I was using for the couple of nights we were staying here. I already had organized everything and am currently exhausted just from the trip here.

I decided to call Paige because I was pretty bored and just wanted to talk to her. She answered the phone on the second ring.

"Hey" She said appearing on the screen

"Hey" I reply

"How was the trip" She asks

"It went by pretty fast, probably because I slept through the whole thing" I reply laughing a little

She chuckled, shaking her head.

"What are you doing?" I ask

"I just got back from practice so I'm currently resting, and I think the team and I are going to go eat dinner later" She replied

"That sounds cool. I think Issy and I are going to go exploring behind Coaches back," I say looking at Issy on her bed

"Oh definitely" She relies nodding vigorously

Paige laughs through the phone. "Don't get into to much trouble"

"When do I ever Bueckers" Issy says to Paige

Paige laughs again. "Well I gotta get going but i'll talk with you later" She says

"Ok talk to you later" I say smiling

"I love you" She says smiling

"I love you too" I reply before hanging up

Issy looks at me smirking. "You guys already say 'I love you'" She says with a teasing smile

I blush a light red. I then throw a pillow at her before standing up from the bed. " Are we going to go explore or what" I say trying to change the topic
