Good news, Emrick was in a meeting all the while me and Ronin were gone. Convenient, aye? Bad news, he was in a really prissy mood the next morning.
I took my time wandering into the kitchen, and seeing nobody in there but the cook, I snatched and ate my fill of chocolate chip muffins, and crispy bacon. The bacon tasted off, and it made me think it was some sort of vegan bacon. A vegan pig maybe. Wait, aren't all pig's vegan? Possibly.
Ronin walked in a little bit later, and as soon as he showed up, Emrick wasn't far behind. He was slightly red in the face, and then a second later he was barking out orders.
"AMBROSIA, GO THROW ON SOMETHING FIT FOR A QUEEN!"
Before I could take a gup of air, he was already yelling again.
"GO!"
I decide not to test his patience, and bit down my comment. All I heard before I made my way down the corridor to my room was,
"RONIN, DID I SAY YOU COULD SPEAK?! STOP LAUGHING AND GO TO YOUR ROOM! GO GET DRESSED!"
I tried not to laugh at the thought of Ronin being ordered around but hearing his footsteps pad in the opposite direction of mine, towards his room, made me burst out. I quietly closed my door behind me and went for the closet.
An outfit fit for a queen huh. I want to impress, not intimidate.
After a few minutes of searching, I found a pale pink long satin V neck with spaghetti straps, the kind of dress that is shorter in the front and billows out the back. I paired it with some lovely lace heels and basic gold jewelry. My burgundy was pinned up, fresh curls framing my neck and my face. I looked like a queen, and I'm hoping that's what Emrick was wanting.

Emrick decided to take Ronin and I on a little adventure. We spent half an hour riding in a carriage in silence, and I pretended not to notice the admiring glances from the two men. After that quaint little ride, I was led to this mush clearing, a little ring of toadstools on the ground. I almost stepped inside of it, until Ronin grabbed my arm and pulled me into him.
"Don't, unless you want to belong to the pixies forever."
I stayed clear of all the magical toadstool rings after that.
Emrick pulled something out of the right breast pocket of his suit, a bell, and swung it back and forth. The tiny echo of the ring bounced of the trees, and the leaves rustled as if disturbed unaccounted for.
There was this weird feeling that went through me, as if the world itself was spinning, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling.
I was dizzy and panting when the feeling stopped, and looking down, I realized I was gripping onto Ronins hand like it was life or death. I instantly dropped it, and he smirked, following after Emrick. I wiped the imaginary dust off my dress, and hiked it up, looking around my surroundings.
We were in a deep red shining corridor, that looked as if it were spun from the most purest of red ruby gems. The floor was smooth for the most part, weathered down by thousands of years of feet. Fairie or human, your guess is as good as mine. Light reflected from the intricate designs of floral art along the walls, and peering down the hallway, it looked as if it went on forever. We walked.
"You know, Clary was once here. A few times actually. The hallway used to be a deep brown, and this little illusion of going on forever wasn't here. There was this cute little multicolored curtain that was always drifting in the wind, though there was no wind. It was really made of butterflies, and their fluttering is what made it move. Grim, right?" Ronin didn't look the least bit distraught over what he just said.
