Y/n's POV:

"Still no mail" I groaned as I crushed into the couch.

"Don't worry I'm sure the mailman will come today" said mom.

I've been waiting for the letters from my friend Aki since forever, because she lives in England.

We could easily contact each other with the phone but us being both hopeless romantics who romanticize life, decided that we would communicate with letters because it felt like being in a movie.

I'm Y/n Matsuno and live with my mom and brother, Chifuyu. I'm happy to have him as a brother, mostly because I can steal all his mangas.

Life's pretty good. I have a good family and good friends, which mostly are Toman members. Even though they can be really chaotic sometimes.

Did I mention Rindou? He's been my best friend since I entered high school. I don't really know anything about his private life, but I do know that he is a delinquent too.

"Go to school now, you'll be late" said mom as I groaned.

~~~~~
"Hello!"
"Don't yell" said Rindou irritated. I sat beside him. Luckily the teacher hadn't arrived yet.
"Are we going to the amusement park today?" I asked.
"Will I have a choice?"
"Nope!"
"You know, if you continue having fun this much instead of studying you're gonna fail the exam, not to mention how much your grades have been falling" he said as he was reading a book.
"It's alright, I have you after all. You'll help me with the exams, right?" I asked with a smile while he only sighted.
The teacher came and everyone began sitting down.
The time passed as finally the bell rang.
"Oh and one more thing, choose someone to do the project with" said the teacher.
"Wanna be my partner?" I asked Rindou while he agreed.
"See ya!" I said and started walking out of the school. I walked to the post office to see if there was a problem with the mail.
"Uhm hi" I said the old men who worked there. I told him about the situation and if the letters had arrived.
"Uhh yes the letters have arrived. Why, you haven't got them?" He said confused.
"No I haven't"
"Wait let me see-"
"Hey" I turned my head. It was a tall boy with braids, looking at us.
"I think I've gotten your letters" he said as he looked at some letters on his hands. I immediately took them and began reading.
Yup. They were Aki's letters.
"H-Have you read them?" I asked with fear in my eyes. She had written about some shit of how we're gonna play princess and knight, when she comes back to Japan.
He looked at me before laughing hysterically. I stayed there like a statue with my face red as a tomato.
"Are you serious? Princess? Knight? Dragon?" He said as he laughed even harder.
I just walked out of there in embarrassment.
"Wait!" He said as he followed me.
"What's your name?" He asked but I just ignored him.
"Or should I call you princess?" I saw him smirking.
"Stop following me, please"
"I'm not following you, I'm going this way too"
"So you're not going to tell me your name?" He said again.
"No"
"Ouch you're so straightforward. Well, see you around, princess"
I glared at him as he smirked and turned around, walking away. Luckily you don't meet this kind of weirdos much.
