Time passed as Miriam looked down at neverland as John told her everything she needed to know.
She looked at the beauty as she did her best to listen to her brother.
"And finally that is the pirate ship.
Captain hook still stands on the ship with his pirates" said John.
"Captain hook the codfish," said Peter.
"Aren't there only children in Neverland?" Miriam asked.
"Yeah but the pirates stay as adults.
It's what makes them so boring" said Peter.
Miriam looked at the ship before it disappeared from her line of vision.
"We can walk from down there," said Peter.
Miriam looked at Peter before flying down to a forest.
It was beautiful and as she admired it she wondered why she had never been to Neverland before.
It all felt like home which was strange yet comforting.
She touched the ground before looking around.
"It's all so beautiful," Miriam said.
"I knew you would enjoy it," said Wendy.
"I remember saying that she should come to Neverland first Wendy," said John.
"I'm here so there's no need to fight," said Miriam.
Suddenly a boy dressed in cloth landed in front of her.
She jumped back "Tootles" said Peter.
"You're back," said the boy.
"I went to find Wendy.
You've met John and Michael" said Peter.
"Who's that?
Why is she so tall?" Tootles said as he looked at Miriam.
"That's Miriam," said Peter.
"Hello," Miriam said before smiling softly.
Tootles looked at her "She's a grown-up" said Tootles.
"I assure you my sister is not like a grown-up.
She used to tell I and my brother's stories of this place.
She started our love for Neverland" said Wendy.
"Did you prepare dinner as I ordered?" Peter asked Tootles.
"Yes sir.
Slightly is serving it all now" said Tootless.
"Then let's go to camp and feast," said Peter.
Miriam looked at Peter before feeling someone watching her.
She looked around before walking away with everyone as her dress got caught on each leaf and twig.

Time passed as Miriam sat on a log that was around a campfire.
Darkness covered her as the fire illuminated all her features.
"You look strange," said Slightly.
Miriam looked at the boy "It's not common to see adults here is it?" she asked.
"No," said Slightly.
"May I ask you something?" she asked.
Slightly nodded.
"Where are the other lost boys?
My siblings said that there were six yet there are only two now" said Miriam.
"Three of them started growing up and the other went away to thin the herd," said Slightly.
"What did Peter do to them?" she asked.
"Peter takes them away and puts them to sleep," said Slightly.
Miriam looked at Slightly "Why would he do such a thing?" she asked.
"It's how things are done.
No one questions it" said Slightly.
Miriam looked at the fire and realised that this place was filled with death.
It was only because she was older that she could see that and that only made her worry for Wendy, John and Michael as they would grow up and leave this place.
Everything was so strange to her but she was slowly starting to understand.
