An hour passed as Miriam stood in Hook's bedroom which was full of artefacts and things he most likely found on adventures.
It all made her feel war as well as safe and she had yet to find a reason for it.
Suddenly the door opened showing Hook.
"Why did you not leave me tied to that pilar if I may ask?" she asked.
"I don't trust the men on this ship to control themselves around you.
I can keep you safe" he said.
"Yet I am still your prisoner" said Miriam softly.
"You are my guest," he said.
They looked at each other for a many minutes "Fell free to get some rest" he said.
"Thank you for the most gracious offer but it is not proper for me to do so," she said.
He walked to her "There is no need to be a lady while on this ship my dear.
Whatever is mine is yours" he said.
She looked into his eyes "My siblings tell me things.
Stories you could say about you and the things you have done.
To them you are a monster" she said.
"Are you scared?" he asked.
"I haven't found a reason to be" she said.
"Then what do you fear?" he asked.
"Nothing yet.
Peter makes me quite uncomfortable but that is only because my siblings will cling to him" she said.
She looked at him "He is no hero and that's all I wish to say" she said.
"I understand.
I have been around him for too many years" he said.
"But no I am not afraid of you.
I feel safe here and I have yet to understand why" she said.
"You will never leave this ship so you will have plenty of time to think about it" he said.
"Indeed" she said.
He then walked to the door "I only have my family where I come from.
There isn't much that will make me wish to leave" she said.
He looked at her "Good" he said before walking out.
She looked at the door before sitting on his bed.
Miriam then took out her hairpin causing her hair to flow onto her shoulder and upper back.
She then looked at the pin before putting it on the bedside table.
She then laid down causing her to relax almost instantly.
The sheets smelt like him which was a mix of rum, spices and tobacco but as well as the soothing scents it had been the first time in several hours that she has laid on a bed.
She looked at the nightstand to see a box of cigars, rum and a lantern.
She took a cigar before lighting it with a matchstick.
She sat up as the smoke poured into her mouth giving her the same feeling that she would get when she would smoke.
Miriam sat there as she thought about everything that had happened in just a few hours.
She looked around the room as the tobacco hit her softly.
Maybe being on this ship wasn't such a bad thing.
