"Thanks for taking me to the fair today," you said, walking back to the car with Gareth. "It's always fun to hang out here, especially when I beat you at all the carnival games." You smiled, opening the back door of his car to put your newest prize in.

"Hey, let it be known I did in fact win one of the games," he replied, getting in the front seat of his car. You got into the passenger seat and looked at him.

"Yeah, but I won two games."

"Yeah, I know. You won, princess." He smiled softly and started the car. "What do you want to do now?" He asked. You looked at the time on your phone and thought for a second.

"Go back to your house, hang out and maybe order pizza." You replied, smiling as he nodded.

"Sounds perfect to me," he said before he started driving back to his house. You couldn't help but replay the conversation from the ferris wheel in your mind.

It doesn't matter what your age is, if you think you've found the right person then you probably have.

Was that true? Was it possible that Gareth was your right person, and you his? Surely you liked to think that way, hoping that he understood what you were hinting at the entire conversation.

But, it was also Gareth, so who knows if he actually understood what you were trying to say or if he was just making conversation with you.

You glanced over at him, watching him as he drove. He looked deep in thought, almost as if something was bothering him. Of course, he was the type of person to never truly tell you what was wrong, no matter how much you pushed.

"What's on your mind, bub?" You asked, tilting your head to the side slightly. He looked over at you and smiled softly.

"Oh, it's nothing. Don't worry about me," he replied before looking back at the road.

"You know, you always say that. You can tell me anything, you know that right? I won't judge you or make fun of you. Just want to make sure my friend is ok." You said, looking down at your hands. He sighed softly and placed his hand on your knee.

"(y/n), I don't really know if I should tell you, at least not right now. Just personal things, you know? Everything is okay, please don't worry about me."

"Promise?" You looked at him, looking at him. He pulled into his drive way and looked back at you, placing his pinky out.

"Pinky promise," he said, smiling softly. You smiled and wrapped your pinky around his.

"Fine, but if you're lying I'll get it out of you, you know that."

"I know, you always do." He got out of his car and went to the back seat, grabbing his stuffed animals he won. You got out and went to the trunk, grabbing your bag before grabbing your stuffed animals as well.

You followed Gareth to the front steps of his house. He fumbled with his keys for a second before he unlocked the door, pushing it open and stepping to the side. You smiled and walked in, taking your shoes off at the door and looking back at him.

You ran up the stairs to his room and set your things on the floor at the foot of his bed and looked around. He chuckled softly and followed after you, watching you look around his room.

"Is something wrong?" He asked, you looked over at him and smiled.

"No, you just actually cleaned your room," you replied, a bit shocked.

"Look, mom said if I wanted to have anyone over this week I needed to clean my room, so I did."

"Aw, and then you chose me to hang out with all week?" You asked, smiling more.

"Well, Eddie was busy so," he replied, making your smile fade. He smiled and walked over to you, "I'm kidding, princess. You know you're always my first choice. Everyone else is boring," he said, wrapping his arms around your waist. "Plus, no one else knows what I'm thinking like you do so half the time I don't even have to say anything." You looked up at him and smiled softly.

"Thanks, Gare. So what should we do now?"

"Well," he said, drawing out the word. "I suppose we could do what we always do and play truth or dare," he suggested. You looked up at him and giggled.

"You mean truth or truth? Very rarely do dares ever get put in." He chuckled and pushed your hair out of your face and behind your ear.

"Well, maybe we should play dare or dare."

"No, I think truth or truth is ok. I know you, and I don't feel like doing anything stupid yet."

"Aw, come on, (y/n), we only live once. Truth or dare?" He asked, looking at you.

"Truth." You replied, smiling softly.

"Earlier you said you were still a virgin, you didn't do anything with Jonathan when you were dating?" He asked, making your face grow red slightly.

"Well, uh.."
