They got out of the car and stood near the entrance to the shop while Henry searched his pockets for a key. He saw the anxious look on her face and grinned. "Don't kick the door down, Detective, I'm moving as fast as I can," he chuckled; unlocking the door. She rolled her eyes and dragged him down into his laboratory.-She figured Abe was upstairs sleeping. "Are you sure about this, Jo?" he questioned; a serious look on his face. "Henry, we've been friends for months.. Leaning more towards this each day," she replied; adjusting his scarf for him. "I have to admit.. This is weird.. Messing around with the guy who dismembers dead bodies upstairs.. But we need to figure out what this is.." she continued. He looked at his feet; pressing his lips in a straight line. "Henry, what am I to you?" she asked; forcing him to look up at her. "You're my friend.. My partner.. and, you're someone I care very deeply about," he responded; his eyes trained on her lips. "Then what's there to worry about?" she said; grabbing his scarf and pulling him towards her. They stood nose to nose, and she could feel the warmth coming off his body. "Jo...You don't want to be get involved with me.. My life is a mess.." He announced; trying to fight back the urge to kiss her. "Must be.. Because you lie an awful lot just to cover it up," she replied. "Why would you be even remotely interested in me?..After all I've done?.." he asked. "Because, you've made me.. Feel again.. and for that, I'll be forever grateful," she answered; wrapping her arms around his neck, and peering up into his soft brown eyes. "Truth be told, my initial thought was that we would be drunk when we'd first try something like this; he stated. "I'm sure Hanson thinks we are," she chuckled. The next thing Jo knew, Henry had pinned her against the wall; kissing her fiercely. He ran his hands along her curves and she snuck a hand under his shirt. His abdomen were sculpted nicely for a man who hung around dead people, and not a gym. She grazed his abdomen lightly with the tips of her fingers, and he stared down at her hands intently. He'd started to unbutton his shirt whilst she addressed him with her lust filled eyes. He finally threw the light blue collared shirt he'd been wearing on his desk, and pressed her against the wall so that she was facing it. He began kissing her sloppily behind her ear, and then she felt it.. He was hard.. Very hard.. "A little excited Henry?" she mumbled. His face grew crimson and he backed up. "My apologies," he responded. "Just making sure that it wasn't just my imagination," she said; smirking. To his astonishment, she pushed him into the cushy chair by his desk and sat in his lap. "Oh lord," he eked out; fascinated by her forwardness. She pressed her lips against his; their kiss gradually growing more intense. He had no idea how far they'd go, but he was sure enjoying this. He wondered if all this was brought on by an event from earlier today.. -Jo had tripped in a divot in the sidewalk walking into the precinct that morning. She wasn't paying attention; staring down at one of those..gadgets.. he forgot the brand name. He dove forward, and caught her in an awkward position; his hand cupping one of her breasts. He remembered the look of both gratitude..and the look of lust in her eyes.. He was sure she'd seen it in his as well. Shortly after he came out of his day dream, Jo started to nibble on his Adam's apple. He moaned; running his hands through her hair. It seemed like there was nothing he could do to get rid of the problem in his pants, and he was getting concerned. If she kept up what she was doing... He paused a second. "Jo, I need to.. become less....Excited," he spoke up awkwardly. "I don't want to ruin my trousers.." She grinned and got up. "Then, why don't you take them off?" she whispered. His breath hitched in his throat. A part of him really wanted to. But another thought it was a bad idea. "J..Jo.." he stammered, as she started to kiss his collarbone; trailing downwards. "Come on, Henry," she spoke up. "Well.. I wouldn't want to disappoint," he smirked.
