_Henry's POV_
As soon as Jo and I arrived at home, we collapsed onto our mattress; taking a long nap. She stirred awake around five in the evening; squirming in my arms, and I held her close. "Better?" I smiled. "Yeah," she yawned; stretching her arms and accidentally hitting me in the face. I scrunched my face up, and she chuckled. "Sorry," she said; blushing slightly. She snuggled for a few minutes; merely happy to bask in each other's warmth, and then I sat up. "What were you going to tell me that you couldn't tell me at work?" I asked; fiddling with her wavy brunette locks. "Nothing," she lied; swinging her legs over the side of the bed. "You're lying," I whispered; wrapping an arm around her midsection, and kissing her neck softly. "Hen.. Henr.." she fought back; gripping the edges of the bed tightly. "Mmm," she mumbled; giving in, and laying back. I climbed on top of her, and brushed her hair out of her face; playing with the fabric of her pretty violet blouse. "What are you not telling me?" I questioned; pinning her down. She looked away; refusing to meet my gaze, and sighed. "I um.. Took a test.. Last week.. and it turned up positive.. I just wanted to make sure, and scheduled an appointment with an OB.. I went in for results during my lunch break," she explained. "An OB? As in an OBGYN?" I stammered. "I'm pregnant," she blurted out; biting her lip, and meeting my gaze. My mouth gaped open, though I'm not that surprised.. With all the unprotected relations we have. I peered into her eyes excitedly, and wrapped my legs around her waist; pressing my lips against hers, and placing my hands on her stomach. "You're not mad?" she grumbled; momentarily removing her lips from mine. I always assumed it was me.. But I suppose it was her," I replied. She placed a hand on her non existent bump, and peered down at it; rubbing gently. "Sean and I tried for over a year," she admitted. "Are you sure you're ready.. For this kind of commitment?" I spoke; cupping her chin, and peering down at her hand. "I don't know," she responded; her eyes misty. "Don't cry Darling," I whispered; doing my best to comfort her. "It's okay.. Happy tears," she eked out; smiling. "Two months ago when I was.. Trapped.. In a relationship with Isaac.. Too scared to talk to you about how I felt, I never would have imagined this," she answered. "I mean.. When we first started working together, I never would have imagined this.. Being happy.. That I'm engaged to my creepy partner, and pregnant with his baby," she chuckled. "I'll try not to take offense to that," I joked; lowering my face to her stomach, and kissing it softly.
