She was walking as fast as possible. Walking away from the guard that almost saw her. It was hard doing it in heels and trying to do it quietly. Walking quietly in heels was quite difficult even as it didn't sound like it.

Her name was fell known and it scared the most powerful people who knew any assassins, her face wasn't so known. Only a small part of people could connect her face and name.

She ducked behind a corner only to come face to face with the second best assassin. The blond man was surprised to see her even as his face didn't tell that story. But she knew how to read people it was part of the reason why she was the best. The one and only Goddess of Death.

It was the name people had given her and she embraced it. It scared people, intimidated them. That was good and helpful. Her name stroke fear in people. She stroke fear in people.

There were only two ways you could tell The Goddess of Death had come for you. She wore a read dress, appearing as her body absorbed her victims' blood. The second was a whisper. She liked to play with her victims, strike fear in them for the last time. The last thing they would hear was ' I've come for your soul '.

She listened as the steps became closer. Her brain working how to get quickly out of an area that took a long time to get into and also out from. Maybe staying was a better solution.

"Have they seen your face?" she asked quietly, studying the man before her. He shook his head, face emotionless but she could still read the confusion from it.

"Just so you know I won't be enjoying this unlike you," she whispered as she pushed him against the wall. She knew this might cause his knife to pierce her stomach but she hoped he was smarter than to murder somebody right before a guard stumbled upon the scene.

She kissed him.

Wrapped her hands around his neck as she kissed him. Soon she felt his hands on her waist. And soon there was an unfamiliar voice. The guard.

"Don't stop," it was on order so she could take the guard out but when she felt the smirk against her lips she knew he imagined it as a plea. She didn't plea. Men pleaded for her. Women pleaded for her. But she didn't. Not to anybody.

"This is a private area," the voice said but they didn't pay attention to it or so they appeared. The voice came closer, telling orders, asking question and saying whatever bullshit to get them to stop.

"... and this indeed isn't a place for making out," he finished one of his sentences as he caught her arm, turning her to face him and away from Malfoy. She made a quick work of changing the positions. She fished for his arms, now pushing him against the wall. Only it was his front that smashed against it.

She held his hands behind his back, free hand covering his mouth. She didn't like being understimated by men but it sure as hell made her job easier. She was able to take built men down, the knowledge to know where to strike was better than the power to strike.

"I've come for your soul," she whispered before, snapping his neck, his body falling limb to the ground. She turned her head towards Malfoy, seeing him lean against the fall with his arms crossed over his chest.

"You couldn't do anything?" she asked him, motioning towards the dead body at her feet.

"You look fucking good doing it," he said.

"I look good murdering people?" her eyebrow rose as she questioned him.

"Yes, sweetheart," he said, pushing himself off the wall. Sweetheart. He always called her that as if she wasn't the world's deadliest woman.

"Get rid of the body, Malfoy," she pulled her gaze from him, peeking around the corner from where the guard came. She heard the body being dragged away as she studied the surroundings. She was almost startled when a hand landed on the small of her back a little while later.

"Shall we?" he asked, mouth next to her ear.

"I don't work with others," she said, not sparing him a glance.

"So you just wanted to kiss me? I like that even more," she could hear the smirk in his voice.

"I had to get rid of a possible witness. That wasn't us working together or me wanting to kiss you," she cleared up, still looking ahead.

"You did want to kiss me and you still do. I know that, sweetheart," he said, making her blood boil. He was so fucking cocky and annoying in her mind. She turned around to face him with an angry expression on her face.

"You-," she poked his chest and he caught her wrist in his hand. Then he repeated it to her left hand. He usually wasn't faster than her but sometimes he caught her by surprise. He now pushed her against the wall even as she tried to get out of his grip.

"Oh but you do," he said, looking down at her.

"I'm on a missions and I don't have time to-" she didn't get to finish as he connected their lips. She didn't kiss him back while she moved her leg between his. Then she did, harder than she had ever kissed anyone. And after a while she moved her leg, kicking his so that he fell to his knees. She pulled her hands out of his grip so she could caught his and lock them behind his back. She didn't feel him fight back as hard as he could, only slightly trying to stop her.

"God, that turns me on, angel," he only said, making her scoff.

"You're so unprofessional," she said, tightening her grip.

"I am very professional," he said, turning his head to look at her.

"Flirting with women is professional in your mind?" she questioned him.

"I don't flirt with women on the job," he said, eyes focused solely on her.

"You don't call this flirting?" she cast a quick glance around them to make sure they were alone.

"I flirt with you and only you, sweetheart," he smirked, making her roll her eyes.

"Right. Well, I have work so stay out of my way," she said, letting go of him.

"You were the one to kiss me," he said, getting up. She sent a quick annoyed glance into his direction, already knowing they would stumble to each other later on. He never stayed out of her way. But work was her priority and she was a woman on a mission.
