My name is Emily, my friends call me Em. I'm 20, and in university. I'm not a big fan of parties, but I'll go every once in a while. I drive a motorcycle, but I'm no badass. I don't like tattoos either, I'm horrified by needles. Did you know that my university has lockers? I didn't. I can never get the damn combination right. I see through the past and present and through the future, I promise I'm not crazy. I was so freaked out when I discovered I could do that shit. Like I said, not crazy. Nobody really knows, but I'd like to keep it that way. They'd send me to a shrink, my mom would disown me, and Selena would grill me about it 24/7. I've known her since middle school, and nobody could separate us.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I zone in and out of my daydream during art class. Mr. Conner has to be the best teacher in the world. Selena bursts into the room, gathering the whole class's attention. Clad in a brown leather jacket and skinny jeans, she runs to her seat next to me with her red ponytail bouncing on her neck when she runs. I like to make fun of her for dying her hair red, but I could tell she wasn't gonna tolerate it today.

"What's wrong?" I ask. "My mom is so grilling me after classes!" She exclaimed with her heavy Irish accent. "Why?" "I burned her breakfast," she softly states. Her mom lives three blocks away from our university so Selena lives with her. Besides, she can't afford a dorm right now. I can't help but laugh loudly at the situation, who gets mad at burnt breakfast?

Selena shoots me a deathly glare, making me shut up instantly. She's scary when she's mad. She raises a hand to slap the back of my head, but I give her the "don't-do-it" look. She makes an uncomfortable face. I focus back to the front of the room, where Mr. Conner begins the lesson.

"I-" "Don't even," I raise my pointer finger in Selena's direction to shut her up, if she ruins my art lesson her mom won't be the only one grilling her. She understands and simply nods. "Today, we will focus on pottery," Mr. Conner begins. "I hope you all have brought the necessary tools for today?" He asks. Selena instantly begins to panic. "Oh God. I forgot them!" I sigh. "You're lucky I know you so well." I hand her extra supplies and I can see her start to tear up. "Don't cry, I got extra tools." She sniffles and softly nods. "Okay. Thank you." I smile at her and grab my own supplies and begin molding the clay.

"Now, I see you all have your tools. Please begin molding the clay. It seems Emily has already started." I stand proud and tall then resume the project. We can make anything we want, I want to make a disc that has my favorite quote: "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." By John Lennon.
