Chapter 8 - Getting Ready For The Trip

It was Just the day when Sam, Colby, Akira, kat and stas were to leave for their haunted location and Akira was unable to sleep for some reason.

It was past 4 in morning when she was awake. She looked at colby who was fast asleep with on his stomach his hand hanging down the bed. She smiled and made him sleep properly.

She was having pain go through those marks which had sort of healed but would pain her occasionally. She sighed and got out of the bed and went to the kitchen to have some water.

She had water sitting on the kitchen stool and sat there when Corey came into the kitchen hearing shuffling sounds only to find Akira sitting on the kitchen stool.

He was editing his videos when he heard the shuffling sound. He sat by her side only to startle her.

"Hey kii it's me Corey what are you doing instead of sleeping at 4 in morning". Corey asked wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"Jetlagged and those pains". She mumbled sighing. "You are warm too than usual wait". Corey said and went round the counter and took the medical box taking out the thermometer and despite her protesting he kept the thermometer in her mouth.

"Kiiiii". He said sternly and she sat there silently. Beep went off and he took the readings.

"You are getting temperature it's reads 37.8°C which isn't normal what am I suppose to do now". Corey said and started stressing out looking at the temperature and a Shirtless Colby came yawning in the kitchen to have water only to find Corey and Akira in the kitchen.

"What are you guys doing in kitchen at this hour". He asked and took a bottle of water while Akira looked at him.

"She is having those pains and is having temperature too what do we do". Corey said and his sleep flew out of window and instantly he got by her side and kept his hand on her forehead only to realise the same and Corey showed the readings.

"We don't even have meds for it and we won't be getting it anywhere nearby". Colby said.

"I am fine it's just this traveling and this weather change might have taken a toll on me nothing to worry bout". Akira said and they both didn't look convinced.

"Kiara we are going today to our location is it safe for you if not than we can postpone it further". Colby said and she shook her head.

"I'll be fine i promise if i don't feel good afterwards I'll tell you no need to postpone anything". Akira assured and they smiled.

"But we definitely need to get you meds for this temperature before it increases". Corey said and sam came into the kitchen too hearing them talk.

"What's going on soo early in morning". He asked settling down on the kitchen stool looking all fresh.

"How are you soo energetic in morning". Colby asked. "You know right how much i get pumped up for any new haunted location was just researching and getting everything checked in advance". Sam said and he shook his head.

"I heard shuffling in kitchen soo came to check who it was and i found kii in the kitchen which reminds me before we forget she has temperature and those pains as well". Corey told and sam got worried and kept his hand on her forehead.

"Shit Kia you are burning". Sam said and went round the counter taking out the meds for her.

"Here take this two days back you were suppose to take this i am sure this will help you with the pain and temperature as well". Sam said handing her the meds.

"No taking it empty stomach idiot". Colby said and made some cereals for her and she took a bit of it including the meds.

"You sure you want to come i mean we can postpone it or push it on weekdays". Sam asked getting concerned.
