The next morning
Zayn was making breakfast since he was up before everyone and decided he wanted to be nice today.
Des walks in as Zayn is finishing up on making the pancakes.
"Good morning mr styles" Zayn greets
"Same to you. I'm surprised your making us food instead of eating it" Des jokes
Zayn raises and eyebrow and shrugs it off even tho he was a little offended
"Just trying to do something nice for the fam" Zayn answers with a wide smile
"Hmm how sweet of you" des says questionable
Zayn just nods
"So..." Des clears his voice "are you and Harry getting together anytime soon" he asks hope in his voice
Zayn sighs
"Harry's not ready at least give him till he's in his 20s"
Des sighs
"But I can't carry the company much longer he needs to-"
"You mean me. You only want me and Harry to be together just so he can 'hand' the company over to me bffr Desmond" Zayn says with an eye roll as he cuts the sausage up
Des raises and eyebrow
"well then...um will you take the company" Des asks looking worried
Zayn doesn't even have to look he can just smell the fear and worry coming off the grown man
"What type of company do you have"Zayn asks curious
Des gets closer
He whispers to Zayn
"Drugs"
"No" Zayn pushes Des back
"That's how I ended up here not falling into that shit again" Zayn says shaking his head
"Pls they'll kill me if I don't get someone trustworthy over the company pls"
"No don't you have a daughter"
"Yeah but she has a life of her own. Harry's still here and so are you. Pls just take the job pls" Des pleas
"NO alright I'm not doing that shit anymore I killed, hurt, fucked to many ppl ok I just can't do that shit anymore ok." Zayn growls
Des sighs "Fine"
"Thank you for understanding. Why don't you just get someone from your public company"
"Because they're to weak over there"
"Damn. Well I guess your a dead man walking huh" Zayn laughs
Des narrows his eyes
"I'm goin out"
"Where"
"Excuse me"
"Where are you going"
"That's none of your business. I obviously can't trust you"
"I just want to know so I can tell Anne"
"Oh umm just tell her I'm going to work"
Zayn raises an eyebrow "She thinks your cheating on her. Are you?"
