Later that nightWandas pov:
I lay in my bed thinking about what happened that day. I was very happy to be friends with Natasha. It had been a long time since i had a friend. Me and pietro used to wander the streets with these other orphans when we were younger. There was a knock at the door.
"Come in."
It was Natasha.3rd person:
"Hey, Steve just told me a mission I have to go on. I promise I won't be long, it's an easy one: I just wanted to tell u where I was going." She gave an apologetic look and watched wandas drop."Wait so when are you leaving? Are you sure you'd be fine? What is the mission?" Said wanda bombarding Natasha with questions.
"Wanda relax, I won't be gone for too long. I'm leaving tonight." She says quickly trying to reassure wanda and leaves the room.
Wanda felt sick for some reason. She cared for Natasha and didn't want her to get hurt. She could tell it was a risky mission too because of the way Natasha presented it to her, even if she tried to show no emotion. She was also not informed of what the mission was so she knew for sure it was going to be dangerous. The witch hurried out to find Natasha before she could leave. When she got to Natashas room she saw the red head, through the ajar door, packing some spare weapons and a spare suit. She knocked on the door watching the girl continue to pack.
"Come in wanda."
Wanda stepped into the room wanting to say her goodbyes. Natasha knew she'd come back to find her after what she said so it was no surprise who was there when she heard the door being knocked on.
She finally turned to stand straight and look at wandas tear glossed eyes."Are you sure you'll be okay? I know it's a dangerous mission so please try to take care of yourself and the team." Wanda said softly reaching her hands out to meet Natashas.
The assassin was shocked by this gesture but didn't resist. Wandas hands were warm and comforting."I'll try my best" she says trying to give a reassuring smile but could tell the witch was still worried.
"I have to go now, want to see me off?""Okay" Wanda mumbled heading out to the roof with Natasha.
She waved goodbye to Steve and Natasha when the got on the jet and watched them fly off. They had only just left and wanda felt weird. Like she missed her.She walked back inside to where Clint, Sam and Tony were in the kitchen. She got some fruit out of the fridge and but them into a bowl ready to eat. She took a mug and made some coffee for herself.
"Anyone else want one?" She spoke whilst turning to the others indicating at the coffee machine.
"Sure, thanks wanda." Clint said, eyes still glued to the TV screen.
"No thank you" Sam said
"No thanks kid" Tony spoke whilst drinking his weird green juice.
Wandas pov:
I walk off with my fruit and drink back to my room, sitting with my legs crossed switching on the TV. It was hard not to think about Natasha, she'd cemented herself into my mind. If there was any time to try figure things out it would be now, when I couldn't make any stupid decisions. Why did I get a strange sensation every time I looked into her eyes. Why does my face keep going red when we're training. Any contact we make it feels like electricity running through my veins.
I was going to ask Clint. If I didn't know, he probably would.
Natashas pov:
"So...you and wanda? What was going on there..?" Steve stated curios.
