We slip in among the crowd, bodys mashing into ours, every hair down my arms standing on edge as we make our way down to the bar.

We sat at the barstools, bright lights overhanging a wall of diffrent alcoholic beverages. A young-ish looking girl walked over, still behind the bar.

"What can I get you?" The lady asked, before Lucas replied,

"A white wine, a pint, and a round for everyone, on me." He said charmingly. Before giving me a bright smile. Somehow I'm blushing, what an idiot...

"Sure thing!" The bartender replied, before getting their drinks, leaving them sat alone.

"White wine?" I chuckled quietly to my partner. "Maybe the white wines for me?" He replied a goofy smirk plasterd over his face...

"Okay.." I shook my head playfully before the lady came back, drinks in hand. "here you go, cash or card?"

"Cash please" Lucas replied with a smile, before handing her a stack of notes. "Keep the change"

We then got up and started walking around. "What's our plan here?" He asked in a calm tone.

"Look for doors, security, drugs, anything really.." hailey whispered

My eyes met with a young looking man, dirty blonde hair, green eyes, I looked to the floor before turning away, he's wearing neon green shoes, that light up under the glow of the strobe lights.

We walk further into the crowd before Lucas whispered into my ear, "anything?" I start to think.

"Dealer back there. Green shoes, white tank. Girl behind the bar was young, and....", I turnt back to the bar, " they just served a minor alcohol."

" bingo.." Lucas smirked charmingly.
"I'll go stage a buy with tank top.."
He added before we got back into character.

As we walked over Lucas turnt to me.
" steph babe.. I wanna make us official" he said, getting down on one knee, hailey played along, Erin had told her to stage an argument, get people distracted.
"Step.. I wanna spend the rest of my life with ypu. I wanna be the only man you lay eyes on, I wanna be yours." He spoke confidently, and genuin.

Hailey scoffed, as she raised her voice "You're proposing to me in some crappy bar!!" Her eyes filled with tears as she looked away to wipe her tears, her hands breaking with lucas'. She saw the buyer doing a deal, believing everyone would be preoccupied with this.

As she looked back she slapped Lucas, and chucked her beer over him. His mouth opend. Shocked. But he stood up, putting his hands firmly on haileys shoulders, so she had to look at him.

"You're not marrying me?? Am I not good enough for you!!!" He exclaimed, his tone angry but sad.

No one could tell they where acting.

"No... im not! And ya wanna know why" hailey spat, slurring her words and fighting away from the man's grasp.

"Don't fight me steph!!!", he then continued. "I Love you so much! And I don't want to loose you!" He cried. "I can't loose you babe" he finished.

Hailey was going to speak. But she was cut off.

*Crash...*

"Cpd everyone on the groud!" Hank demanded.

Both Upton, and Halstead went to arrest one of the dealers, they turned the bar up, along with all of the rooms.

Back at the district they went to change, Hank told them to meet them downstairs in five.

They did as they where asked of, walking back to the team.

"We Apprehended boxes of firearms, two kilos of pure cocaine, and a stack of tabs" he stated, pointing to the loot from the teams earlier bust.

"Good work team.", he then said, "take it easy tomorrow, we have loads of paperwork to get through so i cant have you hungover, if anyone wants to come in on their day off, overtimes available"

"I'll come in tomorrow!" Hailey said,
"me too!" Lucas said after. Erin his back her smirk but nudged jays shoulder like "omg tea"

Lucas smiled at hailey, "hey Lucas?" Hailey smiled, "Yeah?" He replied looking down to meet the other detectives eye.

"Wanna get a drink?" She asked happily. "Sure!" He replied.

"Mollys? I'll drive?" He asked, a confident smile on his face.

Hailey nodded, tonight would he perfect.

They spent an hour sorting through the paperwork, then they went home. Saying goodnight to eachover.

"I'll be home later mom" Lucas said, erin smiled "see ya!" As she walked out.

The partners arrived at the bar, it was kinda empty, probably because the Firehouses shifts ended later and meds ended way later, so there was only a couple of people, Herrmann was getting over being shot (again) so he was taking some time away until the doctors cleared him.

"Hey Herrmann!" Hailey grinned as she hopped up on the barstool. Lucas followed.

"Hey upton, what can I get you two!" He said, cleaning the bar.

"Two pints?" Hailey asked Lucas, he nodded, and herrman got their beers.

Hey partied hard, getting to know eachover and even singing stupid songs, finding common interests.

Then, they finished the night with drunken Sex. Hailey woke up in a bed that wasn't hers, and she was kinda confused. Then the good memories came back.

She kinda regretted it, after all, he's her new partner, and they only just met... it's crazy... but they had a good time so hey! No harm done.
