Breakfast was quieter than usual again. Milena spent the morning with Angelina at breakfast, but she never once saw Fred or even George in the Great Hall. She was determined to find Fred though and she wasn't going to give up until she did. All she wanted was a straight answer from him, a truthful answer because she was starting to miss him being around. She didn't want to admit it, but she missed his laugh, or when he'd casually put his arm around her, or when he'd make her laugh so hard that her stomach would start to hurt, she just wanted him back.
Milena had a free period in the morning and she knew Fred did too, so she figured the first place to look was back at his dormitory, probably still asleep.
"Alright, I've got to get going," Milena said to Angelina, standing from the table. "See you in charms!"
She left the Great Hall and began her walk back to the Gryffindor tower, keeping an eye out for any tall, red heads that might be around, but to her disappointment, she didn't see who she was looking for. Entering the common room, it was mostly empty, seeing as most people had gone to breakfast or their classes early. She climbed her way up the boys' dormitory stairs and stood herself in front of Fred's door, knocking a couple of times, but there was no reply.
"Fred?" She called through the door. "You in there?"
Again, silence. She waited a moment, hoping that maybe he just needed a second to get up before answering the door, but still there was nothing. Starting to grow impatient and a little frustrated, she knocked one more time.
"Fred, if you don't come to the door, I'm just walking in." Milena warned, bringing her hand to the door knob and waiting a moment before finally opening the door.
She peaked her head in and took a quick look around before stepping inside, leaving the door open a little behind her. The room was empty, but messy as it usually was, Fred's blankets thrown all around his bed and a random t-shirt tossed on the end. There was a small pile of papers on his nightstand which Milena could only assume was more orders for their business. She picked them up off the table and flipped through them. Some were marked as "Completed" others still waiting to be fulfilled. There were a decent amount of orders in her hand and she was a little impressed to say the least with the twins. As she continued to shuffle through the papers, she found a folded up piece of parchment that stood out from the orders. This clearly wasn't one of the order forms they used, but instead was a handwritten letter which looked like Fred's writing however it was much neater than usual as if trying to look as professional as possible. The letter was addressed to Ludo Bagman and reading this, Milena rolled her eyes and sighed. "What are they up to now?" She sighed quietly to herself. The letter itself wasn't very long, but it was straight to the point. The twins were planning on blackmailing Ludo Bagman to receive the money he owed them for the bet. In the letter, they were quite angry about having been given leprechaun gold instead of their actual winnings from the world cup bet and were fully ready to blackmail him to get their money back.
Milena stared at the letter for a moment in disbelief. She knew the twins didn't always exactly make the best choices, but blackmailing a ministry official just to get their money from a bet? This was too far she thought. There was no way she'd let them do something like this.
She began to fold the paper back up, not paying attention to her surroundings and being suddenly startled by a voice.
"Snooping through my things, are we?" Fred suddenly said, making Milena jump and drop the papers which flew everywhere.
"Godric, don't do that, Fred!" Milena exclaimed, leaning over, starting to pick up the papers.
Fred leaned against his door frame, his arms crossed as he watched Milena scramble to pick up the papers. He didn't say anything back as he watched her.
