I walked out of the bathroom with my head down again, the hallway was now full with all kinds of people; teachers, parents, visitors, and definitely students. How long was I in there! I quickly scanned the hallway for the guy I met earlier. He was nowhere to be found. I strolled to my locker and once more tried the combination the lock still wouldn't budge. "Arg! Curse you lock," I whispered. "Erm, what are you doing?" I looked up, it was that guy again, and he kept appearing from nowhere. I gestured to the lock, "I'm obviously trying to open my locker" I snapped. "Umm..That's not your locker..." he said quietly. I stared at him in shock, I looked at the card the lady at the desk gave me, then looked at the locker I was trying to open. He was right! It wasn't MY locker. "Oh My Gosh, I'm so sorry" He smiled, two dimples appeared on either side of his cheeks. I moved to the one on the left and put in the combination. It worked! Oh what a relief it is! I sang, in my head of course. Mystery guy, that's what I'm calling him now, watched me as I shoved my bag in my locker, he opened his mouth but quickly walked away. His cologne was still strong as if he had never left.

I went to my first class ELA, it was horrific!!! Three girls sitting behind me started whispering about how Julie, cheerleading captain, dated Frank, president of the robotics club, just so he could do her Chemistry homework. What is this Mean girls!

Second period, in Chorus the actual teacher wasn't here so we had a substitute, most people in my previous ELA class were in Chorus with me and people were throwing paper planes writing on the board, playing music, some of these people haven't changed one bit. And as I sat there quietly I noticed a girl from last year, Gabriella she was quiet as usual and noticed me looking at her, "Hi," she said quietly. I replied, "Hey, Are they always like this?" I asked quizzically, she said yes and smiled at me. We became close friend in the matter of a day we started talking about random things she was really nice and very interesting, she was verrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy pretty the way her hair curled up on the back of her neck and how her legs were always perfectly shaved when she wore shorts. It was like she was perfect. I sighed in my head thinking what it could be like to be her.

Many days passed and I started hanging out with Gabby more, we sat together at lunch and talked about different kinds of meats, movies songs and people. It was really cool hanging with her because most of the time I was lonely, even thought I had a best friend she still had stuff to do and it left me by myself often. I found myself staring at Mystery Boy again. I guessed he felt my star and looked up I quickly looked away and started blushing, even thought I had a tanned skin color redness would always creep its way onto the surface of my cheeks. He started walking over here and it's like everything happened in slow motion. I girl pretended to trip over his foot and fake stumbled a little, both saying sorry at the same time she patted his chest and flashed him a smile. He ignored her and kept walking towards where I was sitting. She looked after him hoping he would look back but he didn't. She stomped her foot and flipped her hair and walked away. I knew at first sight that she was going to be a problem, Brittney Watson.

Cliché much?

He sat across from me and stared intensively at me, "What's a pretty girl like you sitting at a table alone?" a look of concern flashed across his face but was quickly replaced with a genuine smile "Joey," he held out his hand but not for me to shake but for a high five " I'm a fun person," he shrugged. When I didn't high five him he asked "You Okay?" I nodded. "Well okay, I'm here if you need me" he flashed one more smiled and winked then he got into a car and left.

Lucky Joey! He had a ride while I had to walk home, I walked through the same double doors I came through this morning and jogged down the steps. Katie had Jazz Band as usual and I had to walk home ALONE. I walked past a group of guys, not jocks but not geeks, like, in between. They got quiet and stared at me for a while, I glared at them and picked up my pace. Of course they began following me, "Where do you think you're going?" One asked with a devilish smile "Home," I replied coolly "Why so fast?" Another said. I didn't answer them this time. One of them he pushed me against the fence with force "Maybe we can come to my house after all I'm having a party and you're pretty enough to be invited." I don't want to come," I snapped. I pushed him away but he grabbed my arms and pinned them up over my head. He had blue eyes and blond hair.

Typical

"You're come whether you like it or not," He retorted

"We'll see," I said smirking at him.

A confused look came over his face as he quickly let me go, I swung my bag over my bag and continued my way home. I was scared something worse was going to happen to me. I thanked God it didn't.
