Muichiro's pov
Me and Genya were wondering around the mountains on a mini mission together I was happy about the fact we were paired up because sanemi always makes sure we're not, but hey master must have said no for once to him.
"Hey Genya isn't the mission up the mountain..?" I said pointing towards the top. "Yes. But I hear crying I think." Genya replied walking towards some bushes.

Three kids pov
(( I didn't give them names cause I didn't know if you'd like the names I would give them so they go by colours! XD red, pink, orange.))

Red was crying beside the tree she was always the baby in the group, they were trying to find the way to final selection but couldn't find the right path. "Oh hush up red!" Orange yelled, she was just annoyed and hungry like usual, she just wanted to get to the final selection and complete this heck of a mission. And then pink was trying to use the compass her sensei gave her but it was cracked and wasn't easy to read. "Anything yet pink?!" Orange questioned while walking up to her.
"N-no..?" Pink said knowing orange was mad already. "UGH!" I trained for five whole years to get into this selection and now I won't even get to go!!" Orange said sitting down and tearing up, pink was trying to comfort the two but didn't know where to start.
"Hello?" Genya said walking through the bushes. "Is anybody there, were- well one of us is a hashira level demon slayer im a kinoe level.
(( I know he isn't this is my au of when they all lived after kokushibo and continued fighting! Let me dream ok 😭))
"We're here!.." pink yelled in response going closer to the bushes.

Nobody's pov
"Why are you three out alone in the mountains at this time at night?.." Muichiro said putting his sword back in his hilt. "Well we were on our way to final selection at the demon slayer corps but.. uh we kinda lost our way half way." Pink said rubbing the back of her head embarrassed. "You mean YOU lost our way pink." Orange said hugging red trying to make her stop crying. (which wasn't gonna happen)
"hey hey, it's ok Muichiro is a really good slayer a hashira! He'll help you three no worries!" Genya said smiling and patting reds back. "Really! Which breathing are you miss?.." red said sniffling. "..." Muichiro started pulling his sword out slowly. "MUICHIRO NO" Genya said hugging him. "Fine.." he said putting his sword back. "???" All the girls were confused. "Uhm this 'girl' is actually a man, he just has very feminine features. "O-oh! Sorry mister!" Red said bowing.
"Yea it's fine., I use mist breathing, how about you three?" Muichiro asked sitting on genyas lap, Genya didn't mind at all. He liked it.
"Well pink uses insect breathing, I use flame breathing and orange uses wind breathing." She said sitting down. "Hm guess sanemi does act like his slayers.." Muichiro said giggling. "Muichiro! That's not- pfft- that's not funny!" Genya said keeping a straight face. Orange was confused. Pink was confused. Red didn't care.

Genyas pov
After a ton of convo we finally were able to get the girls to final selection. "Now you three be safe and watch your surroundings ok?" I said crouching to there level.
"Yes sir." They all said bowing in respect.
"Good. Now go Goodluck." I said as they walked towards the wisteria entrances. Muichiro and I went back to our mission on the mountain before sunrise hit.
