The Old Song

"Ugh, what happened?" is what I muttered as I woke up in the middle of the pentagram on the floor.
Remembering the events from before I passed out here I decided to look for a way out of this place. Getting up and grabbing the axe,
I resumed my search for an exit and pressed on. Geez when did this place get so big? Another tape caught my eye, so I pressed play and the recording started

Voice of Jeff Woods
"He appears from the shadows to rain his sweet blessings upon me. The figure of ink shines in the darkness. I see you my savior. I pray you hear me. Those old songs, yes, I still sing them. I know you are coming to save me. And I'll be swept into your final loving embrace. But, love requires sacrifice. Can I get an amen?"

The recording stopped and as I was gonna continue walking I heard someone say "I said, can I get an amen?" which made me come to a halt, I convinced myself that it was nothing and to keep moving so I did just that.
While going through some ink another person holding a cutout walked by. I called out to them "Hello? Excuse me, can you help me?" but when I tried to catch up to them they were gone. "Where the hell did he go?" I asked myself. I destroyed the cutout out of frustration but as I turned away from and turned back to it, the cutout was intact. I cut it into pieces multiple times to let out some frustration and it was pretty calming.
After all of that and pressing a few buttons, I cleared a path to the music department. I found the exit down some stairs but it was flooded with ink. I flipped a switch to drain the ink but it ended up turning on some lights.
Just as I was about to do some more looking some ink creature with no legs jumped at me and attacked me. I fought back and killing the thing was pretty easy. More of them started coming out at me but I got rid of them easily.
After I finished chopping those things up a door had lifted to reveal a hallway with an office at the end. I saw another tape and decided to listen to the recording that was in the tape.

Voice of Jeff Woods
"So first, Slenderman installs this Ink Machine over our heads. Then it starts to leak. Three times last month we couldn't get out of our department because the ink had flooded the stairwell. So what's Slenders solution? An ink pump to drain it periodically. Now I've got this ugly ass pump switch in my office. People in and out all day. Thanks a lot Slender. More distractions. These songs don't write themselves you know,"

Seems like I need to get into that office to drain the stairwell. Thanks for the info tape recording! I tried entering the office but the door was held shut by some ink that was in the way. I pressed the play button on the tape that was above the ink to find some clues.

"So I go to get my dustpan from the hall closet the other day and guess what? I can't find my stupid keys *tick*. It's like they just disappeared into thin air or some shit. All I can think of is that they must've fallen into one of the trash cans as I was making my rounds last week. Just hope no one tells Jeff because if he finds out I lost my keys again, I'm outta here,"

Those keys could probably lead to something that could drain the ink to the office. I went on to search the trash cans. After looking for a bit I found the keys and unlocked the closet. I didn't find much besides some supplies, soup, and yet another recording. I hit play wondering if this would lead me to something.

Voice of Jeff Woods
"Every artistic person needs a sanctuary. Slenderman has his and I have mine. The piano delicately calls. The violin shudders with a piercing voice. And the bass fiddle sings with deep articulation. Play my song and my sanctuary will open to you,"

A sanctuary huh? I walked over to the music room, turned on the projector, and put in the combination. I then heard rumbling and saw that a room was now available. But before I went to see the sanctuary another recording caught my eye. So I played it.
