Pokevergarden (TobiGB) - Pokemon x Violet Evergarden Story

Prologue

A/N: Hello everybody and welcome to a brand new story of mine, now this is will be a crossover story between Pokemon and Violet Evergarden. Before I get started I need to point out that the version of Ash that's being used here is the AU one from movies 20, 21, and 23 not the Ash from the main anime. The reason I went with this decision was because I wouldn't be bound by the anime and it frees me up to be creative since movie Ash is sort of a blank slate, also this will take place sometime between movies 21 and 23.

So with all of that out of the way it's time to get started with the story.

"Can you believe it Pikachu? I have the Jet badge now." Ash said admiring the new gym badge with pride.

"Pika!" Pikachu cheered just as happy as Ash is right now.

"Well now that I have my sixth badge what do you think we should do next?" He asked the electric mouse who was wondering the same thing.

The reason Ash came to Mistralton City was to earn his sixth badge so he could compete in the Unova League, but now that he already accomplished that he didn't know what his next move was going to be, there was a part of him felt like that it was time to head towards the next gym battle. Then there was another part of him that wanted to stick around for a little bit longer and see what the city could offer him, but before he could continue his train of thought Ash noticed three people gathered together who seemed to be having an interesting conversation amongst themselves.

The group consisted of two boys and one girl, now Ash isn't the type of person who would eavesdrop on someone else's conversation but he noticed that the boy wearing glasses were holding some kind of rock object in his hands that he was showing off to the other two.

"Wow Cheren that fossil you have is so amazing! What kind is it?" The blonde girl asked with excitement in her voice.

"It's a Claw Fossil I found it while I was exploring Twist Mountain, they say that there are several different kinds buried in some of the caverns there." Cheren explained to his friend.

"I want to head on over there right now and see what kind of fossil I'll find." the girl said with sparkles in her eyes.

"Easy there Bianca first things first we have a gym match to get too and besides we can head over there afterwards." The other boy wearing the blue hat informed her.

"You're right Hilbert, but I really would like to go explore Twist Mountain and see what kind of cool stuff I could find." Bianca said with a pout.

"Excuse me." Ash said as he approached the trio as they all turned their attention towards him with curious looks on their faces.

"Yes can we help you?" Cheren nicely asked the young trainer.

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation but you said that you found that fossil inside of a place called Twist Mountain correct?" Ash asked Cheren who nodded his head in response.

"Yes I did, I heard that there is a place that can restore them back into living breathing Pokemon again." Cheren replied back to him.

"Awesome that's so cool! Right Pikachu?" Ash asked his little buddy who was just as excited as he was.

"Pika!"

"Could you tell us how to get there?" Ash asked wanting to head over there right now as fast as he can.

"Of course just head north of here and continue on from Route 7, but I highly recommend that you stop by the library first and pick up a map because it's very easy to get lost in there if you're not careful." Cheren informed him.
