after Tim realised how much of a horrible friend he has become towards Lucy during their months of undercover work he deceived to stop keeping his emotions bottled up and tell her how he feels about her but after their op is done because he's still her sergeant and doesnt want her head messed up while their suppost be working as drug runners for very dangerous people . eventually Lucy call Nyla and hash out the plans for getting the uc op over with so they can go back to their friends and familys and live their lives in their normal-ish routines . Nyla expand that there will go to their next buy and once all the detrails have been arranged they'll have plain clothes cops in unmarked vehicles waiting for the signal to go in . this is supoiost to take once on Saturday its not Thursday . so they have Tim to kill in their hotel room for a day or two .

Tim spends most of his time watching sorts and only having small talk with Lucy about work and food . Lucy of the other hand spends Time reading a book called goodnight whisper and trying to avoid Tim as much as she can , but its really hard with the fact that there stuck together in a fucking hotel/ motel room .
Lucy so in her head about the fact that this uc op has changed her perceptive on the relationship he has with Tim , she thought they had a god f=dynmaic wit their flirtatious banter but now its like they don't even want to be around each other .

Saturday finally rolls around and there endsmup being a misshap with the buy and the officer come in to early and theirs bullets flying around . Tim and Lucy are trying best to maintain their covers until a bullet hits Lucy (juicy) and Tim runs to her screaming "LUCY LUCY " completely blowing thier cover but he doesnt care all he cares about is making sure she's okay . he out pressure of their wound signalling for a officer to call RA and lay eyes flutter open "Tim " she says grasping his face with her hand "I love you " she says in a week soft voice that breaks Tims heart " then suddenly RA show up before Tim can all her how he feels she's rushed into the ambo and on her way to Shawn memorial with Tim left behind to be debriefed about the op before going to see Lucy in the hospital .
