Chapter 14 ~ The fox plushie

~ Y/n POV

I sat down at the dinner table to eat my now-cold pancakes. Iris, Niki and Minx sat down with me and we started chatting.

"You know what I think is going to be a good idea?" Minx said at one point in the convo. "We should have a girls-night today"

"Yeah, it is going to be amazing! We can gossip about many things without being annoyed by the boys" Agreed Iris.

"I am in. So, meetup at 9 in our room?" I suggested.

"Yeah, sounds about right" Niki said as she got up and walked into the living room making Iris and Minx follow her.

I placed my plate in the sink and followed her as well. The boys were talking when we came in. We all sat down at the couch when Wilbur turned to us.

"We were thinking about going to an arcade at 1, what do you think?"

"We are in, as long as we are back at 7" I answered.

"Why what is happening at 7?" asked George in his confused British accent.

"Gossip night" We all answered in sync making all the boys confused, except Sapnap.

"Oh, ok have fun, I guess" he said.

We left the boys there and went upstairs to get ready, taking turns on the curling iron, making suggestions on the other's outfit and makeup while listening to music.

~Karl POV

"Gossip night" they all answered making us super confused.

"Oh, ok have fun, I guess" said Sapnap and they went on their way upstairs to, I suppose, get ready?

"You understood what they meant?" I asked him.

"Yeah, Iris and Y/n would have a lot of 'Gossip nights' growing up so I know what they are and what they consist of" he said as if it was the most normal thing in the world. I was still confused; I tilted my head to the side and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"Ugh, they basically gossip about girly things, they watch movies, eat snacks etcetera." He explained.

"Oh"

"Can I ask something?" asked Will raising his head from his phone to look at me. I nodded.

"Are you and Y/n dating?" he asked, making me blush at the question.

"N-No, why?" I managed to say.

"Oh well, you behave that way sometimes" He stated, turning back to his phone screen.

"What is going on between you and that woman anyway?" said Tommy. I buried my face in my hands in embarrassment.

"Tommy you idiot! Karl clearly likes Y/n" Tubbo told him, hitting the back of Tommy's head.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked, my face still buried deep into my hands.

"Only a little bit" Ranboo said trying to make me feel better.

"Well, even if I do like her, she would never like me back" My voice breaking at my last sentence.

"How can you be so oblivious mate?" asked Philza. I raised my head from my palms to look at him.

"Karl, listen to me. I have known her since we were 10. She clearly likes you. Have you seen the way she acts when you are around?" Sapnap assured me.

"So, she DOES like me?" I asked in disbelief.

They all nodded.

"Should I ask her out?" I asked, unsure of the answer.

"I say go for it, mate. She does like you, trust us." Will said, giving me an assuring smile.

"Ok, what should I do" I asked and they started to help me plan a date for me and Y/n.

~Y/n POV

After about an hour we were finally ready. I was wearing a pair of beige cargo pants and a white crop top. I had put on a small amount of makeup, basic cat-eye eyeliner, mascara and some lIp gloss.

We all headed down stairs and I immediately felt eyes on me. I looked up and saw Karl looking at me with a slight blush on his face. Clay was standing next to him, face red, staring at iris in her short white skater girl dress. I giggled slightly, Iris being the only one to hear me, since she was next to me. She gave me a confused look.

"I'll explain later" I whispered to her as she nodded in agreement.

"Are you guys ready to go?" Sapnap was leaning against the doorframe, fidgeting with dream's keys.

"Yup" answered Minx popping the 'p'.

We all pilled into the cars. Me, Iris, Karl and Quackity in Karl's car, Dream, George, Sapnap and Minx in dream's car and Wil, Phil, Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo and Niki in the mini-van we rented the day prior.

Karl was driving and Quackity called shotgun the second we got out of the Airbnb which leaves me in the backseat along with Iris.

"Can you pass me the aux?" I called out to Quackity.

"Here" he said handing me the aux cord

"No country thought" he added.

"As if" I answered, pressing shuffle on my playlist.

The song 'Looking out for you' by Joy again started blasting from the car's speakers.

The whole ride to the arcade we were screaming the lyrics to every song (especially when mask and roadtrip came up) and in about fifteen minutes we arrived at the arcade.

I was mostly hanging out with Iris, Sapnap and Karl the whole time, but after a small lunch break, we had, all 14 of us would go around the arcade in a group, playing games and laughing our asses off.

"Iris! Play air-hockey with me" shouted Dream, making his way to the air hockey table.

"Alright, prepare to lose" she answered going towards the table as well.

"In your dreams" Dream argued with a cocky smile.

Dream might be a PVP god, but Iris is the god of Air-hockey and Uno.

And to no surprise, Iris won.

"Take that Dream" Iris teased after she scored the winning point.

"Oh, come on now" he said laughing. They both started making their way back, still bickering about the fact that Iris won.

"They fight like a married couple" Niki said, making me giggle.

"I ship it" Minx shouted from behind us. Dream and Iris stopped talking and turned red causing the rest of us to burst into laughter.

We stayed at the arcade for a couple more hours before deciding to head back. We made our way to the counter to redeem our tickets.

"Will, I am going to get my vlog gun!" Tommy shouted, making many heads to turn in our direction.

I was almost my turn at the counter. I had 1.539 tickets and no idea what to get as I let my eyes browse through the prizes on the shelves. Suddenly my attention was drawn to a Minecraft fox plushie. Just in time.

"Can I get the fox plushie please?" I asked the lady behind the counter.

"That'll be 1.200 tickets" she answered in a customer service voice. I handed her the little paper in my hand. She pressed a couple of buttons and handed me a new paper with my remaining tickets and my fox.

"Thank you" I said as I took the fox and little paper and walked to where the group was now waiting.

I needed some time to myself and school but I came back stronger, with better writing skills and juicier chapters.
